I don't know if it because I am on a wireless connection, or just variances in overall usage, but I get very different results when testing between different servers - or even my local San Diego server - back-to-back and one after the other. My upload speeds vary between ~1.1Mb/s to ~2Mb/s. My download speeds vary from around 4Mb/s to ~13Mb/s. My computer is using a wireless connection, BTW.
