I like the deception tactic.. I usually run 6-7 other races, making sure 1 is at least slightly evil.. Then ill get to alliances tech asap, align with all but the evil one... Then wait for them to build... I'll align with good, stockpile money, then when time is right start declaring war and defeating all others cept the evil race.. And then the grand finale.. By then their tech should catch up to me.. And its one helluva battle to win or defeat.....lol I tried the Dip victory, no fu

I think the powers that be or the mod gurus should come up with a in game "test program" for user created ships. For example i build a battlecruiser. Not sure how its gonna work in a real game scenario.. Well be cool to put in a "test" battle just to see how it does... Just a thought

Game flips to desktop randomly in Bug Reports GalCiv2 Forums

Everytime I play the game after iawhile starts flipping to the windows desktop. Then its at least a min or 2 before it "reloads" and resumes the game. Then it will continue to do this.. I've tried turning off internet (helps a little), turning off antivirus, firewall and net.. delays it but it still happens. Tried various display settings etc...
