Elena, I do not know if you also like turn-based games, but if you do, have you heard of this game? http://www.deadstate.doublebearproductions.com/ It is one of the games that I am looking forward to.
Seconded. Looking forward too it a lot.
Thanks for all the input, you did a goo job, at least I assume so, explaining it all. Much appreciated. I'll have to mull over if I want to buy.
Leviathan Warships from paradox: http://www.paradoxplaza.com/games/leviathan-warships#about_game-tab or http://battle-worlds.com/ I'm looking for depth, game play enjoyment, and replay ability.
@kantok. Wow, thanks, very well written description. "Time always moves along," means that the game is 'running' even when the PC is "off?" (And RL continues?) That is really a new 'feature' to me.
Yes is that what you meant? So if you're not literally at the computer all the time you'll miss some things? That time is always moving, so zombies could come, other people could steal your
I bought the preorder and from what you folks have been describing i'm already disappointed. Particularly because they got a bit over 1.8 million in pledges. You think they could make a better game with that amount of money.
I assume you are talking about the Hearthfire DLC? In the Vanilla game, you would buy a home in a town and it would be already built. If you are buying one of the homes from the DLC, it's just a plot of land and you have to build it. Building it cost resources, you can gather stone, wood and clay or just buy it from your steward. You have to make some follower a steward too. Iron is the biggy you have to obt
To my knowledge, you can buy three plots of land, in holds you couldn't buy a house, where you can build your own house in the Hearthfire DLC, in addition to the player houses from base Skyrim. I don't have any of the DLC, or patches for that matter, but I got much of my info from the Elder Scrolls Wiki, and the info you are specifically interested in can be found here.
Ty. Yeah I read the wiki, but wit
Simple question, when you buy property do you buy a house or an empty land plot you build a building on? If so what buildings can you build? How much do they end up costing? I realize this is something more appropriate for the skyrim forum, but its so large I figured this will get noticed here. TY for any info.
Do you know of its any better than metro 2033? I found the movement of monsters/npcs, artyom(your character), and the gun sight all very choppy. At least in the demo.
Hey thanks for the heads up. 40% of Skyrim Legendary Edition!
Haha well some of those are spells you mention are chaos/nature and to get champion level you kindo need to take full life magic and warlord Trying to pick up extra spell books depends on the RNG gods in control of those nodes. But seriously those longbowmen are insane. 2 volleys at most will take down Great Drakes, Great Wyrms etc.
Shrug if you play on...impossible? setting most nodes hav
You're missing flight, eldritch weapon, holy weapon, elemental armor, etc etc. ;)
I'm looking to order online an xbox controller, a computer adapter for Xbox controllers, and a wired mouse. I'm also looking for a good website that has good customer support if there's a problem with the order. Any recommendations?
You can trade games on steam?
I got that on steam and quit playing very quickly. The controls were awful and perspective were awful.
I played through once. The second part of the game is sort of disappointing in that the exploring doesn't feel like exploring. You don't really follow clues or signs of civilization, just follow the roads. A few things sure, but mostly not. As well I found that I was having to repeatedly click in various places to find where I could go and where was blocked off. As well there are things you can come upon, but you can not activate because you hadn't found the proper quest
Third post started about this :P :)
Heh, I posted this too. : )
This game looks really interesting. I hope they depict how fucked up the conquistadors were.(Not that the Aztecs were perfect, human sacrifices and all) It's description does give you the choice of what t do. Anyway from the Steam page for the game: " Conquer the New world: In the 16th Century, Spanish explorers and soldiers reached the shores of America. The search for gold, fame, and adventure drove these travelers into a treacherous wilderness where they faced hunger, d
Wow. I had COMPLETELY forgotten about Star Control. Right now I can only recognizing/remembering the ships' appearances. I feel like a kid and a very old man at the same time. oy.
I played the single player, I had a very hard time finding a goal while playing the game. I didn't see any reason not to just keep my civilizations at the very bare minimum of development.
Nod. The most effective way to stay balanced was to just keep passing turns.
http://store.steampowered.com/app/238890/ It sounded interesting, but turns out to drag on and its not all that entertaining. Maybe the multiplayer is better? Any tried it? Do they have servers? Even so I do not see how it could be all that fun. Its very repetitive.
Yeah I tried a version you're supposed to mount using daemon tools, but its not working. I tried using windows 7's compatibility mode for 95, 98, and 2000 without much luck. Have you tried to get it to work using a psx emulator? If so could you give me step by step instructions?
Nevermind, I found a version I can play. : )
