1.AI for combat, diplomacy, city building, etc. 2.Loading times for saved games, map generation, etc. 3.City and champion specialization. Tied with more variety of quests.(improvements I would like to see have already been stated above) (and it would be nice to have an option to turn off the use of magic in auto-resolving combat)

I liked the design of Dom3(and 2) except the AI was awful. It was geared more towards multiplayer. If they come out with a demo for it i'll try it, otherwise I'll be passing.
Not sure if its supposed to work this way, but does anyone else have post from seperate sub forums appearing in the general forum subforums? Such as clicking on the general forum link gives you posts from the fe beta support section as well as "general" posts.
So this is very odd. And takes a bit of explaining. I have a stack of units moving about and such. I was moving down along some mountains. Saw some wolves and decided to go the other way before engaging them. So I right click one square. My stack moved to that square, but then moved down towards the wolves without me clicking. So I tried to move away again the following turn clicking on a square and the same thing happened, the stack moved on its own towards the wolves. Sort of like they have
I tried to load a saved game while the game was minimized/alt-tabbed. I do this because it takes a long time to load(my computer is powerful enough that I assume i should not. I can run SWTOR, for example, just fine). FE never loaded the saved game so I closed the program.
To keep the monsters from overrunning you early just turn down the monsstor "difficulty level" before you start the game. Each game can be diffierent.
This is true, however i'm playing the the basic settings so I think its still too much. I want lots of monsters to fight, just not right at the start. So toning down the amount of monsters overall doesn't solve the problem.
I completely agree here. I love the traits, and would like to have them peppered amongst techs. It'd make me feel like I am progressing. Er, not that I don't from other aspects of the game. :)
Problems: Gloves seem to stick through the sleeves of hooded robes. I had a game where my sovereign died in the first 3 turns to a spider. I think this is a bit much, yes? The introduction tells me there is fertile land near by, but it wasn't visually on the map, not could I mouse over a square with a tooltip indicating fertile land. Turning on "show tile yield" only seems to work when using my sovereign before founding a city. Otherwise it doe
The broken nose becomes a negative trait for the champion, it has a tooltip like pretty much everything else to explain exactly what it does
The note you receive when your champion acquires a negative trait does not tell you what effect it has. If you have over for a tool tip it does not say anything. Maybe later examining the hero it might(i have not tried), but it would be helpful to have the information there when your champion fi
Seconding the over abundance of monsters, at least particularly in the beginning.
Same, though I think this might have been intended? Can still move the map by holding the left button down and dragging the mouse.
The solution here, as in most cases, is to try before buying.
No demo for Skyrim and the only people I know who have it are far away.
They mean that you can modify them.
Nod, that's obvious. Some things I've read online seem to suggest you can get a schematic if you re-engineer them .
So i've been looking online via google(SWTOR forums search feature still not available) and asking in game, but nothing much definitive. Does anyone know what [Prototype] items are? Such as these: And even though i'm synthweaving I can reverse engineer these(i did not make them, got them from a container bought with commend
So Frogboy's post got a song stuck in my head, what's the last song stuck in your head? This is the one in mine:
Maybe I just have no taste, but I tried Sword of the Stars and was so bored and turned off by the game in the first 20 minutes I never played it again. The same with Dragon Age:Origins. I played for about an hour and a half and just was not into it at all. I felt like I was playing WoW with more people to control. So dull. Mount and Blade:Warband was amazing, but it never finished and they never improved the siege so it is one of the best games of the past 10 years, but
Vampire:Bloodlines. I've never replayed an RPG more than twice, bloodlines I played each clan at least once, some twice. The atmosphere was perfect, the "problem solving" was seamlessly integrated. The characters were well acted. The story was fairly unique. Just a brilliant game.
I completely forgot about the tab for training sage abilities until just now. And because of this I now have this stuck in my head:
Never mind. Figured it out. You just scrap the ship.
Does anyone remember how, in Master of Orion 2, you get the technology off of a ship you captured in battle?
We have pretty much the same set up, Birthday party. I would suggest turning off shadows and bloom. I don't even notice them being gone and it has made a world of difference.
Bloom was already off. However, I turned shadows off and shazam! Its so much better now. Thanks a lot Xia! :D
So I bought the game and have been playing. Having tons of delay/lag in the Jedi temple on tython, at various places in the begining quests on tython, and now in the fleet. Grrr. I posted to the forums and got no response. I put in a ticket, but i'm not expecting much help. I figured i'd ask here. Anyone else experiencing lots of lag when you have a more than ample computer and updated all yr drivers and not running other programs? These are my comp stats: Processor I
I've bought widow PCs and found them very reliable and if you need tech support you get someone who knows their stuff, not someone reading a prompter who does not.
Figured I'd post about this. If you like Twilight Imperium and are in the nyc area there's a gmail group for organizing games. Runewars in nyc: http://groups.google.com/group/runewars-in-nyc?hl=en Twilight Imperium in nyc: http://groups.google.com/group/TI3inNYC?hl=en And if anyone knows any
I watched a long demo video of SWTOR and actually wasn't impressed. Sci-fi setting aside, it seemed a lot like WoW in function. I was not a fan of having to organize 10-20 for the larger raids and them involving waiting waiting waiting predictable scripted fight waiting waiting waiting and repeat. I realize it has a solo aspect, but the reason I'd play a MMORPG is to play with and against other players. Can anyone speak to the group questing? Or the PvP?
