2 points that always seem to get passed over: 1. How can the same people people who believe Bush is too dumb to tie his own shoes, turn around and accuse him of masterminding the most ingenious plot and coverup in history? 2. Israel has one of the most formidable nuclear arsenals on the planet and has never used them, despite extreme provocation. Do you honestly think that Iran and bin Laden would be able to show such restraint? Would you really, trul

He was a KOOK. If you read his ramblings, and read about his behaviour, he was an insecure stalker, blaming "rich kids", and anyone else but himself for his misery. I love the kneejerk, "I almost gaurantee Sueng Cho played GTA, and 1st person shooters." comment. If that silly theory was true, the killings in schools would be daily, and nonstop.
Rappers SHOULD be allowed to say what they want and so should Imus. There is no middle ground. Either you are for censorship or you're not.
Most of you don't get it: Rappers SHOULD be allowed to say/sing ugly offensive things, and so should IMUS. He broke no FCC regulations. His mistake was going on (liar) Shrapton's show, instead of just appologizing to the girls and moving on. The right to NOT be offended is NOT in the constitution.
SPORE is working as intended. 'nuff said.
Imus (and a producer or two) may be racist and sexist but freedom of speech and an understanding of the human condition are so important that we should not so easily tread on them. On face value, this arguement is so convincing to the point it is now a satndard response i hear every time something like this happens. I think the saying :"you repeat a lie so many times and after a while people will believe it i
If I said something like that at work I'd be fired. I don't see why he should be treated any differently just because he's an outrageous celebrity. Then why isn't ALL of hiphop losing their record contracts? ""bitches ain't shit but tricks and ho's" The top ten rap songs right now mention "ho" 189 times. Um, genius: this is free speech. He falls into the same category (artist) as ANY rapp
Liquid cooling works for me.
I just tried setting Stardock Central to the second server, and yes, a beta appeared for download, but when I tried to download it it said my account information was invalid. What are the possible causes of this? I get this too.
God and politics? Yeecccccch!
Where is the world outrage againt this? They violated the Geneva Convention when they put the hostages on TV and coerced sataements out of them. No outrage? A couple of rednecks stack up some naked Iraqis and we're STILL hearing about it, years later. They weren't beheaded, tortured with an electric drill, vivisected, amputated, etc.
ringworlds and dyson spheres are not only impractical to build due to the huge amount of materials and manpowerneeded, but a common solar flare will seriously damage or destroy the structure or the inhabitants and equipment on the structure. Really? Even for a civilization millions of years more advanced than present day Earth?
These are worth reiterating. Just read through all of it - some easy way of seeing which starbases need upgrading short of actually opening the information screen for all of them. - UI: tabbing through your ships, when you get to a ship/fleet on a location with lots of ships, moving that ship out of that location will ca
I was just near the end of a D.A. game when that wonderful "Jagged Edge" mega-event occurred. What surprised me, however, was the flag assigned to the Jagged edge - it was the Canadian flag! I've only had the Jagged Edge event occur in a couple of games but never saw this before. Does this mean the people at Stardock do not like we Canadians, making us into mobsters? Are other country's flags also used by the Jagged Edge? Just curious if anyone else h
Um....who said they've been stopped?
"Fightem like "insurgents" they say" So let's start sawing through bound-people's necks with a serrated knife, a la Nick Berg?
Did anybody see/hear fathead Rosie O'donnels' take on it? We're doomed.
Well it should. I make purchases with a heavy weight on support.
...just ignorance of his own very shallow and very short national history extending only 240 years or so... Regards Zy 240 years and a dominating cultural victory. More of a compliment than an insult. Also: shallow history? At least the Yanks have only decimated their own continent once with a major war and that was about 150 years ago. The Euros find a way to slaughter each other millenia after millenia, which part of the reas
I noticed this. The Drengin and the Korath are totally the Ur-Quan Kzer-Za and Kohr-Ah. Enslavers vs. genocidal maniacs. C'mon. Korath. Kohr-Ah. Not fooling anyone, guys. I love these similarities though. Um, they already admitted that they were influenced by that and other previous games.
I find the Krynn pull ahead many times. I usually have to throw a few speed-bumps their way.
I use them as cheap orbital defense platforms in the early game, just put weapons on them and nothing else. Yep.
Try gigantic.
Pleasw, whatever you guys do; do NOT make it turn-based tactical.
I'm looking at a 24" widescreen to replace my current 19" LCD. Specificly the BenQ FP241WZ. Not strickly for gaming though, more for general usage like surfing and working on spreadsheets. There should also be enough real estate to place a small video on the screen to watch while surfing or doing whatever. I tend to avoid 22" LCD monitors because they are all 6-bit TN panels. Good for fast first person shooters, but overall bad color quality, limited viewing a
