I don't care much for the changes to curgen's volcano. With this it just goes from overpowered, to unuseable. in either case it still fails to be a suitable component of the game. 500 mana for one spell is a rather expensive cost, but 2000 is pointlessly high, so as to be unattainable until hyper-lategame where you're already strong enough to win. The casting time is a good thing to have on it, although 10 turns i

'The Astronomicon' still has the sound of wizardry if you were looking to simplify. If you are going to keep tweaking the mage class (just got one hero to level 5 yesterday and chose the first of your changes) then Rise of the Magi sounds good. I don't care what you call it, just keep coming up with the good ideas! [e digicons][/e]

I would love to wage wars between pacts of kingdoms vs empires, or to face the threat that small civilization I am about to sack has powerfull ally. I remember both things from Galciv II and it worked great, spicing up the late game. But now, by the time alliances are possible, its usually all over. Also, there should be more options for diplomacy/influence rich sovereign

I used it in my last game to make enough room for a city to build a logging camp that kept giving me an insufficient space message. And enchanted hammers and earth elemental are both very useful. Check out https://forums.elementalgame.com/436647 for a fun spell/magic mod by mqpiffle that has some neat earth spells as well.

Also you need to delete and then reinstall the mod, including what's in the gfx folder. Roots is no longer a valid spell.
Oops! I just overwrote the mod folder when i downloaded the latest version, I didn't realize Earthmeld was a replacement for Roots... and thx for

Hello, I really enjoy Fred Saberhagen's Swords series and thought it might be fun to bring them into Elemental. The xml below is my attempt to mod the charm unit (tame/silver tongue) onto an artifact. I was totally pumped when I got it to work, but then realized i had just modded the spell Mindsword's Call into the spell list of every hero. The attributes of being available for customization and the cheap cost for charming units will be tweaked. But I found

The ability to adjust it on the main screen is nice, but problematic when things are on the second page of the list and you are trying to click and drag the little icons around. There is a ton of room under the city picture and bigger icons for aging eyes to see and adjust the whole queue in the city details window. This would make changing build orders a snap when i research fortress or food buildings and want rapidly update my build orders. Thanks! <p
