But maybe I'll settle for 15 Magic Tech. Except right now, I don't have the option to

Darn it! I used Google translate last week for Dutch to English on a burning transit bus story and it was at least understandable.... Thanks for playing [e digicons]:D[/e] [e digicons][/e]

Yep, Steve, I just noticed that when I went to take a screenshot: The resources don't cover it, but the techs do.
As I try to balance my offer with another faction's items, the trade window overlays the other faction's trade value total. It can be made out by squinting, but it is pretty hard to see. Also, why are the diplomatic options separate from the raw materials/research trading window? If I desperately needed another faction to declare war or settle for peace, I think i would be using all of my resources to ensure the survival of my people.
"... They will lord over small villages and attack caravans that come too close..." (fix from to to too)
As per title.
How about shard conversion into a Holy Avenger type weapon, is that possible with the xml? A Sword of Life that casts Sacred Luminance at the start of a battle and gives + 6 regen a turn to the wielder? That would be cool! Or a Staff of the Heavens that summons a Deva (minor angel) at the start of every combat.
I totally agree, but the shrills were part of the army, too. And if that were the case, the army could be split and the air elemental could have moved forward alone, and that would be a cool consequence of the spell as well... I just wish they had established all of the movement parameters of the units prior to building the game. I am pretty sure flying was introduced after FE was in beta for a while and a lot of potentially great units (griffins, giant eagles, scou
An air elemental and his air shrills are wandering into my territory. I tried to cast tremor to hold them in place until I could reinforce my nearest city and a message popped up saying "Needs to be cast on a vacant (empty?) tile." Initially on a mountain, then next turn with the monsters on a mountainside I got the same message. Thanks!

Perhaps a discount for rushing a project that scales as the gov rises in level? Path of gov picked at 4th, so: 10% level 6 Apprentice Taskmaster 20% level 8 Journeyman Taskmaster 40% level 10 Taskmaster 60% level 12 Miracle worker Somebody come up with better titles, please, but you get the idea.

Beautiful and informative write-up. Thanks for your time and effort. Never put much thought into blunt weapons, always rush to spears after restoration. Will try it next game.
Used against various enemies: troll, bone ogre, darklings. No poison damage ever dealt. The poisoning effect hits as they are first struck, but the never suffer any damage then or at the end of their turn.
Monster lairs, lost crates, beast remains all left for my sov to pick up in their territory (including next to their starting city.
"reknown" should be renowned. Should well-armored be hyphenated?
I found the original Sanctuary icon in the gfx folder: And here is one I made using assets in the game: Please use or adjust as you like!
Thanks, Crimsongecko! This is actually easier than I thought. The editing tools on Photobucket really help my meager MS Paint efforts. I just found the text insert tool...
My idea for Roots.... will make a simpler one for Root...
Please do, glad you like it! I am working on Root/Roots and Sanctuary icons as well...
Thanks, that was embarrassingly easy! Like a bolt from the clear blue sky... I'll take my luck then with root as it has helped save me from the Juggernauts in several games... Keep up the good work!
I made up a very simple smite icon, but the forum won't let me copy it from my desktop into a forum post. How did you get your pic in the above post? I made it in Windows paint (I'm no artist, either!) But I thought you might like it. Is Root resistable? It worked everytime in my last game both friend and foe...
Enemy AI used Root against a trained unit and then against my sov in the same battle. Sweet!
