Need help in Galactic Civilizations II GalCiv2 Forums

Hi, I haven't played for a while (the new addon has sparked some interst), anyway I tried to start Dread Lords and got a blank screen. I then updated my Video Driver (no help) and reinstalled Patch 140X_102606 (no help). I used to play this game with no problem. Only other thing since last time (6 month ago) was I bought a new Viewsonic flat screen and quit the CRT (can't believe this would make a diff). Of course, due to their size, the starbases should take up a sizable chunk of any fleets logistics. I would think it wouldn't. A Starbase is just that, a "base". Logisticly thinking, the Starbase would enhance the the Fleet logistics. I am not saying no logistic points should be assigned, but the assignment of points should be minimal since a

Does it help (increase speed or Revenue) to upgrade Freighters after they establish a trade route? Any benefit at all? I find later in the game I have better engines, more room, etc. So do you spend few BCs upgrading freighters?. Thanks, DF1

I have been lurking at this site since I bought the game... reading various posts and such. So...Can someone tell me what "bump" means? DF1 Oh-ya, I love the Kat Civ stories, they need there own folder. Kudos to the author.
