My naming conventions are similar to those above but sometimes I deviate from the norm and use names from movies/literature, like the Pequod, Corsair, Serenity, etc. Other times I just throw one on like AC Warhawk or BC Terminator. I guess it just depends on my mood. Then there's always the typical names like the Quest and Endeavor. Sometimes they're corny, sometimes they're cool. I actually find it odd that some players have a hard time 'naming'

I've been trying to figure out the AI method, but I use one that I saw on this site late last year. Noncombat ships have a 3-character name, with combat vessels having an extra 2 characters indicating loadout category. Hull | Role | Agility | [Offense | Defense] | - Generation Hull Class (ABCDFG): Auxiliary (cargo) Battleship (huge) Cruiser (large) Destroyer (medium) Frigate (small) Gunboat (tiny) Role (ABCEFS

First off, great addition to actually have my worlds change sides to a new nation. Now, I was just in a war with a custom race of Terrans. I had just recaptured all my Jagged Knife worlds, when they and two other races attacked me. I soon made peace with the two others, but I am now on the edge of the Terran homeworld. And I can see their worlds. There is the low-level extra world in their system that is still under the control of the Knife. Also, there is a very close level 18 planet that i

I I believe he's saying he'd like to have to have the option to add Dread Lords to a normal game. They do pop up sometimes via a mega-event, although they're usually so weak they get squashed immediately. Stronger dread lords in "sandbox" games would be great, actually. Yeah, that would be good. I've found myself thinking "So?" when they appear. And about the topic, I'm confused. 4-player, but every race is

Okay, I've had to actually do some real things in life and haven't gotten to do this yet. But now that the full DA is out, I'll be releasing something else. It's actually where the Astolan and the Alokens come from, some time tomorrow I'll post up the basic stuff.

I created a new race, but I though about messing with its AI and when I was done it got set as an opponent. I then went back and chose them (I had been the Terrans while editing) and I was stuck at only 8 opponents. It went away after I restarted, but the point is it was there.

Yeah, humanity is causing it to a degree. I live in a place that, when I was 4, got a nice large snowstorm. Just last year we barely got 2 inches. And the year before even less. You can't say that it is naturally doing that so quickly, nature just doesn't work that fast.

Well, if you don't have a ship built and you quit you can never build it when you load up, but that's the only major error other then the title screen showing part of the DL screen over the mod screen.

I have to say GalCiv2 and Rise of Nations. GalCiv2 was actually just a shot in the dark, I just wanted a space strategy game. I had picked up MOO3 and not really liked its layout, Empire at War was too simplistic, and GalCiv was just sitting there on a shelf. And RoN is, to me, the best of the Age of Empires creators. It has the most content (going from around the post Bronze age to current time) and the AI is good for the combat part of the game.

I think that would be good. You can't expect a nation be able to completely decimate a planet like that on their first try every time.
