We actually had troubles with the update that was posted as of this morning. However by early afternoon we had a fix out for Deskscapes for XP. Have you updated or done a fast uninstall, reinstall?

It is unlikely that games saved before an update will be compatible once the game has been installed I'm afraid. You will likely have to start a new campain once you update.

I log in and play under a totally different name (because I loose often enough and it's a bit embarrassing when you work for the publisher). I won't say whom I was playing against either but I was in a 4p free for all. I often play the Vasari and go with a quantity over quality way of fighting (and I mean LOTS, lots and lots). I had something similar happen in an instance like that. Bioware is slow with support (due I'm sure to volume) but they did end up getting it fixed for me. It ended up being something that had to be taken care of on their end as much as mine so I don't have any advice but to make sure you talk to them. Sorry for your troubles.
We have noticed that several people have had the same troubles. We don't know what would cause it but if you choose to run the software instead of downloading and then running the set up file you can get incomplete or corrupt downloads. We are trying to find the cause but for the mean time we suggest to everyone that they download the whole file, run the install, restart, then just delete the set-up file if they wish.

Are you currently trying to install it onto an XP or a Vista machine? I don't believe it has been updated for Vista at this time. Either way we were able to test this with XP and Vista machines and it does not seem to be installing through Impulse correctly. I have notified the developers of the matter for you. My apologies for the trouble.
