Burnmelt, the War Rank Points were actually supposed to be in Beta 2. Maybe it's not in because it didn't make it, or because it did make it and they thought it wasn't fun. In any case, we should get to try it - hopefully in some future patch.
Alternatively, the relative amount of gold from mines vs. the amount of gold from bounties could be map dependant , so some maps are more Diablo style, and some are more RTS style.
This is actually

The fact that the stronger army units don't spawn at the moment is a bug I think - and having catapultasaurii spawn on their will make games shorter.
If I might ask, what exactly levels up the war ranks of the citadel?
Time at the moment. War Rank grows in a linear fashion, equally for both teams. Probably not optimal. (and a UI indicator for War Rank would be really nice)

Yes - stunlock one Demigod by occupying your entire team. Stunning looks bad because you're not seeing the bigger picture - the rest of the enemy team runs free while you use yours to stunlock one of them.

17b. I'd love to see that as an added option on the Universal Gadget. That item is incredibly cool, it'd be used more if it had some more uses. It is after all, a universal gadget. 8. Demigod seems a little too fast paced for this - and giving that information to every player might lead to people checking enemy equipment, selling all theirs and gearing specifically to counter the former player. Observing how a Demigod behaves should be enough clue to figure out what he's going for, eq

Damaging instead of killing the grunts is actually an advantage when having a general on your team - it allows them to kill grunts with 1 hit, which means they heal your team more often (Oak) or get more minions (Erebus).

3. Hell. No. Making buildings killable by low level demigods is basically turning it into a completely different game. Powerful buildings is the reason you need armies - if Demigods could push on their own, you might as well get rid of the portals. 5. The opposite - tone down kill-gold, put more gold mines into the middle. 2. There already is timing and skill based Demigod combat - using potions and other items is the most obivous skill/timing based mechanic, with many spells
I think Oak rocks, but Erebus definitely sucks. If I had to rank the heroes, Erebus would be at the bottom. I've played with him several times now, and it just takes more effort to win with him than with other heroes. Here's some reasons why: You have to split your focus too much. What I mean by that is you have to get mana regen items so you can cast spells. Then you also have to get +hp items so you can use cloud. Then you have to get armor

Stuns aren't that prevalent, and they all have reduced effectiveness against demigods. Not to mention they all have very large mana costs compared to the actual damage they deal - stun locking one demigod takes several demigods working together, which leaves the rest of the other team to roam free.
Strategy obviously needs to come into play as well, but strategy can be easily learned over time by almost anybody. That creates an increasingly even playing field in the long run. Micro has to be practiced in order to be developed and maintained, and some people are simply better at it than others. This allows the best, most dedicated players to distinguish themselves, meaning the playing field will become increasingly less even between average players and great play
I think I figured out the problem. It's the minions not the spawns. I think The Oak in particular.
This is kind of true - the minions, both unique and bought, blend into the fight due to their player-colourage. Simply marking them somehow (a ring not unlike the Demigod marker) would help a lot.

Making everything big and easily recognizeable ruins any sense of scale. The fact that most things are the size they are makes the size of the rook far more impressive. It's the reason the X-units in Supcom were so impressive - the regular units were incredibly tiny next to them. Compare that to Blizzards games, and their "huge" Starcraft Battlecruisers being barely larger than a tank, or their Warcraft 3 endgame units being barely bigger than every other unit. They don't look impress

Making spell damage depend on weapon damage messes up the itemization - you'd go for +weapon damage items despite playing a caster build. However, weapon damage should go into skills that are clearly weapon based - Snipe, Hammer Smash, etc.

Generals work fine - a full cap of Oak spirits can easily kill an occupied Assassin (unless the assassin is anti-general skilled). They're not supposed to be able to beat an Assassin 1:1 without good application of skills. Defending flags isn't something they're supposed to be good at either, seeing as how one of their prime advantages is access to siege units right off the bat. They can maul towers from the get go - that doesn't seem very defensive. I agree on Erebus - he does seem a
The reason why it's overpowered is because towers and the citadel don't regenerate health and once destroyed are permanently gone. All you need to do is rush to the tower you want to destroy, die, and use those 10 seconds to quickly rack up damage. I don't think that's at all what was intended.
Well that's not quite correct anymore. The defensive building upgrades in the citadel grant regeneration.

Rekka, as an occasional workaround, using the hotkey for minion selection, on a minion type you do not currently have seems to select the demigod. And I agree, a "select/focus on own demigod" button would be great.
