Incompatibility is one thing. Overwriting icon files with nothing is another. Yeah check the requirements, whatever. Are you going to sit there and tell me you have never installed something that was designed for anther OS just to see if it will run (because 50% of the time it does)? And yes, 4.2 does run, and yes, occasionally you find that piece of software that will not and even then you may have to boot into safe mode to get rid of it. But once it
There was another error with the upload process, in which the original file was not replaced correctly and it was pulled, I am still waiting just like you guys for it to be resolved, again, with it being the weekend, its purgatory time. Sorry, but as Bart Simpson famously said "I didn't do it"
[e digicons][/e] It seems like
I see it was taken down on WC now. I wish I would have known that before I downloaded it here. I thought I would be getting the Win7 version along with the skin, but apparently not. I hope this gets reconciled soon.
that's the coolest start menu i have ever seen.
Well at least I'm not alone. Anyone have any ideas as to why this is happening?
For what ever reason, ever since Icon Packager was updated to the new UI, whenever I apply an icon package, it applies every icon exept the control panel icon in the start menu. I've looked through settings, updated IP several times, uninstalled it and reinstalled it, and nothing seems to work. Every time I change packages I have to manually go in and change the control panel icon. Is anyone else having this issue? I'm using the latest build of IP and running Windows Vista Home Premium. A
Po, that Object sweeper icon looks awesome!! Thanks so much! :)
How's everyone today? I've got an icon request if someone would like to help me out with it. I've been able to find replacement icons for most all of the object desktop icons. One that I can't find is an icon for Object Sweeper. The default icon is 32x32 (I think) and I've got it sitting in my dock (at 48x48) looking all blurry and whatnot. If someone could make an updated icon for Object Sweeper, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
I had Maxthon set to default, then I set Firefox to default but Objectdock was still launching Maxthon. I got it fixed now. I went into maxthon options and set IE as default, then went into Set program access and set FF to default and then it started working right. That only happens when switching from Maxthon though, not the other way around.
Thinking back on all this, I remember what I had to do last time. It wasn't deleting the settings that fixed it. I removed Maxthon completely from the system (which broke the links in objectdock). I had to dig through my registry and manually delete all the entries for Maxthon. I wish now I could remember which string was the one that did it, but I don't. I know this means it's a lingering setting, but I have no clue which one. I would do this over (as much fun as it was the first time) but I do
Actually yes, I've tried both of those suggestions and object dock doesn't seem to care one bit. It still launches maxthon when I open a web page from there.
That seems like an aweful lot of work just to look at a gallery. Why couldn't you make it a catagory? For example, if I go into the windowblinds gallery, my location is Home/Gallery/Visual Styles/Windowblinds/All Catagories/Last Updated. If I click the arrow for All Catagories, I get a list for Computers, Holidays, OS, etc... Can't you just add Master as one of those catagories?
I seem to have a problem with objectdock and setting a default browser. This seems to only happen with Maxthon. I was using Maxthon as my default browser and I went to switch it to firefox. For some reason, objectdock is still launching Maxthon when I click on Internet related stuff on my dock. This happened once before and I ended up having to get into the hidden folders and deleting the settings, thus starting the dock over from scratch. This is a pain, and it only happens when trying to de
Actually started out this year with a Holiday theme. No telling how long it's gonna last though :)
No problem, and I'll admit, I'm a bit curious myself. Btw, when are you going to throw Harmony up on here? I know it's available on Maxstyles, and no offense, but I would just rather snag it off of wincustomize when it becomes available.
It was still included with WB 5 through stardock central. It was in an additional skin pack along with a few others by Alexandrie. Here is a better screenshot of it. [link="http://www.pixtudio.com/preview.php?id=39&action=1"]WWW Link[/link]
Thank you Po'. These look great.
I was wondering if anyone knows if there is an icon for the wincustomize wiki site. I looked around the object dock and misc. icon libraries and couldn't find anything, but I'd like to have an icon for it. If someone could either make one or please point me in the direction of an existing one, that would be great. Thank you.
Thanks for the info Hankers. I was having the exact same problem, but unchecking the archive option did the trick.
Wow, ok then. Well, you see that was the point I was trying to make (and I could have sworn it was the same point you were getting at) that this forum does not contain that feature. I was attempting to agree with you, but I guess you're just one of those people that will take a swing at anyone in sight so never mind then. Sorry I bothered.
THe keyword search is designed to search through and find specific threads, the names of the people who may have created them, or the people who replied to a post across multiple boards. You can look for the auther, the thread name, even search for when it was created or how many replies and so on. It does NOT however search through each and every individual post in every single thread on the forums looking for the word you typed in. Think about that for a second. Even if you were to narrow your
There is already a blind called Hallows Eve by Z71 Link
Kitty, your stuff is always so much fun. I love your wallpapers especially. The wall that went with your Annihilator blind was just incredible. I love this wall too. Looks like it will fit in well with the rest of the theme. All you guys are doing an amazing job! I love halloween anyway, and this project is just getting me excited all the sooner. Can't wait until the whole thing is put together! Keep up the great work everybody!

This is so not the thread I was expecting to see when I clicked on the link...
