I fixed this issue by going into windows 11 24h2 security options / ransomware protection/allow recently blocked apps/ selected all stardock, gal civ 4 ,and steam things blocked and allowed them. Then i went to the actual executable location in steam folder for gal civ iv and ran it as administrator. one or both of these things fixed issue for me.

Hello I love the potential in entrenchment to start off. I am one of those people who would love to help test the game balance. At this point that is not possible as i get a minidump every single player game. I have 64 bit vista. I personally find it very disheartening to be kicked from game right when i get my foundation built. Could you please make the minidump issue a priority over balancing tweaks. I believe I am very patient and i will wait three more years for this game to work i

Is the sync fix or ICO update going to help with minidumps in any way. I love the game can play for 35 minutes before a minidump. I do believe the minidump problem should be a priority as it is the source of most negative feedback on the forums. Please May i ask that the minidump problem gets resolved before tweaking of the balance. Getting a great strategy set up and having game kick me out is a very disheartening thing. I love stardock and all the games you make but I honestly believe that
