I've been having the same problem since updating to 1.8 from 1.5. I wasn't having the problem with 1.5 or earlier. Just for some giggles, I decided to put a trade embargo on one of the minor races after one of the major races paid them to declare war on me. The problem is, whenever I click the "Trade Embargo" button on the minor race, it won't fill in the check box, and I'm not able to put an embargo on them. I tried putting embargos on other minor races, but couldn't. Has anyone else had this problem? I'm running DA v1.5, so I'm not sure if this has been fixed in a later update (I bought the gam
Is there an option that will let me enable ship/starbase trades with the minor races so that I can buy their starbases, rather than declaring war on them, or waiting for a war? I usually use the minors as trade partners when playing conquest only games, that's why I ask.
Alright, the custom ships are actually saved under "My Documents": Custom ships from DL will be in: My Documents/My Games/GalCiv2/ships The *.xml file and associated *.shipcfg file should be moved to: My Documents/My Games/GC2DarkAvatar/ships But the "UTF-8" encoding tag needs to be changed to "ISO-8859-1" in the *.xml file.
I had some custom ship designs in Dread Lords that I'd like to use Dark Avatar. How can I do this? Thanks!
