When you enable any mod the game has to reload from scratch basically. Sometimes this may take a while. Is that what you're experiencing, or is it a crash to desktop?

Carnum, I won't pass up a planet to colonize another one past it for several reasons: 1) No telling what's out there at these early stages in the game. 2) By the time I make it back those passed-up planets may belong to someone else. 3) It takes money to make money. I want to get the income going as fast as possible. 4) I will gladly eat the cost of an underdeveloped planet for a few minutes in order to gain it's possession. I guarantee it will make me that lost money back s

MeyeC, unless I'm missing something with locked teams you would not have gotten ANY diplomacy at all. As far as I've always thought locked teams meant no diplomacy.

So not sure if anyone is playing with this or not. A friend and I put 4 hours tonight into a large game and both of us where using this. Turns out that he couldn't connect to my game without the mod installed and enabled so once we set that up the gameplay went fine. We were able to essentially ignore the quests we didn't want to do or couldn't and not take major penalties from it. Plus the quests didn't come quite so fast. I'm still hoping IC enables an acceptance checkbox fo

Ben, take a look at the Quest Adjustment mod I put up. Link is in my post above this one. It really helps out.

OK, some good posts in here folks. I agree almost across the board so I've decided to fix things. [link="https://forums.sinsofasolarempire.com/?AID=177880"]WWW Link[/link]

OK, so reading through this thread here: [link="https://forums.sinsofasolarempire.com/?forumid=404&aid=177242"]WWW Link[/link] and I find myself in complete agreement, the diplomacy can kill you. So here's my answer, I've created a new mod that tones down and adjusted the parameters for quests as follows: Quests failed lose between 1-3 points depending on some parameters. Quests completed still award the same points as before. Quests now only get awarded every 8 minutes

And lookit here... Literally JUST as I posted my above smarmy reply (it's my superpower I think) I get this in my mailbox... "Your item was shipped on 2/11/2008 via USPS Priority Mail. Please allow 2-3 business days for it to arrive. Please let me know if I can be of further assistance." OK, so now we have something to work with, should be in my hot sweaty little hands before the weekend's over. Coolness!

All in about 20 seconds at most? Just sayin'.

Yeah, the pirates are pretty evil about that. I had two trading posts on either side of the pirate base and it was a while before I could get in there and clean it up. Of course tons of trade ships went in, none came out. Once I did clean the place out I noticed that the pirates had build six guass guns that were all positioned to kill the traders as they went by. Bastards.

Anyway to control them or stop them from constantly going THROUGH the pirate base? They seem to take the shortest possible path to wherever they're going and damn the torpedoes. Also... when the trade port or refinery builds another one does the new ship cost anything?

It seems to me that to put the races into MMO or RPG equivalences that the TEC are basically fighters, the Advent are mages/buffers and the Vas are rogues. TEC get hard hitting ships with plenty of money. Some of the hardest hitting (non-tech'ed) ships around belong to this race. They are pretty straight up DPS'ers and their endgame cannon is THE thing for damage. Two shots from it and you can kiss your homeworld adios. Advent's strength comes from ships buffing other ships. Glad you were able to solve it noo3lb (does that mean 3 pounds of noob?? :) ) And thanks for the good reports everyone else. At this point I've looked over the modding tools that ICO has released and this mod won't work there (yet). But as soon as it does I'll update it. For now keep on running the .bat file as always. Peace! -Lazy

No, the opposite. The only area where the screen IS clickable is in the center where you would expect the interface to be when the game is in widescreen mode.

I'm trying to stretch Sins across 2 monitors while it's in windowed mode and I can certainly move all the .window files and achieve that, however there seems to be an area in the center of the two monitors where the game is accepting user activity (mouse clicks) for action. How would I go about changing that? I've checked all the .window files, there doesn't seem to be one overarching one that controls all mouse input. Ideas? If someone will answer me that I'll post a Multi-Mon mod that

Can't help with much of it, but I can address this one... "As has been mentioned elsewhere, the InfoCard definitely needs to pop up in the corner furthest from where the mouse is pointing. It does have a terrible tendency to overlap what I want to look at." Pull down my Minimal UI mod and install it. It makes the info card itself (not the text on it) almost completely transparent, that way it's way less intrusive. Screenshot and download here: [link="https://
