I've only played on normal, so I don't know if this is an isolated incident. The AI doesn't use its planet bonuses; e.g. it will stick a stock market on a research bonus when there are plenty of other squares to place it. I'd like to see the ai use more intelligent planet builds, even at normal.

I had one random event that gave the Drath a map full of 2-dmg tiny ships. Retribution for kicking their ass I suppose. I controlled about 50% of the map so most of my vulnerable starbases, frighters, scouts, constructors, and troop ships died. It was realy mean of the computer, considering a turn earlier the thalans found some Arnorian tech to make them uber strong as the game progressed <img src="http://images.stardock.com/gc
Edge scroll? There's an edge scroll?
Ya I agree too. The games I play are WAY too long to be played in a multiplayer fashion. i.e. on a large map with plenty of races. The only way I could see multiplayer being done is if you had a save feature and play a few turns at a time; or you could play like mail chess. But at that point the fun gets sapped right out of it . I wish this
I dunno, I think diplomacy is fairly easy. You build up a medicore military, trade a lot with the other races and sit for a while. Eventualy everyone will love you for the whipping boy (or girl) you are and you can ally them with little trouble at all. The most interesting victory I've had has been the tech victory. I had the Iconins and Yor wiping out my military but they had only a handful of troop ships to throw at my most populated planets. Suffice
Oops. I thought I got the update through the bonus packs. Guess I should read a little closer. My crashes might be due to the old bugs then. If it happens again and its not documented I'll post the error log. Thanks!
I dont think ANY alliances can be broken with a "break alliance" button. I realy wish there was such a button . What you can do is pay that race to attack someone else (or get another race to attack them I think) and not support them in the war. This should break the alliance. Right now I'm allied to a major race who doesn't want to attack no
Hmm...I can alt-tab out, but getting back in takes a realy long time; i.e. the screen might be black for ~5 min depending on the map size. Guess the comp has to reload up all the ships and such.
I get this bug occaisionaly: I make a few waypoints, about 4+. When I select a ship to go to a way point, and that point happens to be off the menu, I am unable to scroll down to that item. This is just plain annoying when I'm trying to control my fleet on a large map and need seperate collection points for frieghters, constructors, battleships, troop ships, etc. <img src="smiles/Tongue.gif" border=0 ALIGN="absmidd
