Have you tried Avast! 4.8 ? The home version is free ... I've been using it for over 2 years and no issues with it ..

If StarDock has shelf space for the Gold version. They should re-release it as a Platinum version including the 2 add-ons ... They should offer it at the StarDock as a CD offer without the digital download too.
I would say the real people that have all the power aren't the United States, USSR, England or even China ... It's the people that own big business. The people that own ExxonMobil, BP, Shell and OPEC ... Big business control things and they will for a very long time ...
TASpring is a very good game based on Total Annihilation. Their are a few mods that stand out. I prefer BA for Spring and then XTA when playing on the net. It's worth the download, so good and get it .... :D
Alfonse
The primary reason console games sell more than most PC games is this fact: they just work.
I agree with you, some people just want it to work ... That's it ... if it doesn't work ... send it back ... I just purchase a new HP laptop because the prices are low ... As soon as I started it up ... It has a lot of crappy apps and a lot of trial ware software installed... Also, I'm not a big fan of Norton AV software ... :(
I would say the people playing the PC games are changing. I still have my first PC and the games I played them on. It's a Tandy 1000EX with a windows 1.0 ... It's old and still works too. The only PC game that required me to upgrade was iDs Quake .. I upgraded to a faster Intel processor and a 3DFX 3d graphics card. Right now ... I prefer RTS games over FPS ... My other bad habit is upgrading my PC ... New graphics cards ... CPUs .. more memory an stuf
OPS ... Double post ... Time to make the donuts ... :CONGRAT:
DAMN ... Thats .. sweet ... :D Two great companies working together .... Looking forward to it's release ...
I hope it's another add-on pack for GC2 ... :) Maybe my Stardock and IronClad together .... ;) That would be cool ....
I agree with cvearl, PC games are still popular and will continue for years to come. Right now PC hardware is getting better every 6 months. Right now you can get CPUs with 4 cores and get video cards that can be configured for SLi or Crossfire. The chipsets are getting better too. The only thing that is slowly moving is hard drive tech. The size is "OK" , but their should be drives that should be running at 10,000 or 15,0000 rpm with a transf
It sounds like it's going to be a fun game. Looking forward to its release.
I'm a average gamer and I prefer buying my games in a CD format. Right now, I'm trying something new. I purchased a few games from Stardock. Back to the topic .. DRM games have there good points and bad ones. Right now most gamers have internet access and a lot have broadband too. The software makers should force the the user to login to install the software product. It should be a two part installation process. A purchased CD with key or a downloaded installer wit
Looking forward to the new beta release ... :D Sins is a great game ... only played a few games online ... Need to improve my gaming skills a little more .. Also, lokking forward to your next game ..
Hey, has ne one heard of a new windows OS coming in 09?
MS Vista was a mess ... hardware requirements is too high for MS Vista. I figure Xmas 2009 MS will release MS Vista's replacement. Just like Windows XP replaced WinME ...
I just updated to a ATI Sapphire HD3850 on my new system. I ran the new video card for maybe 20 minutes ... an it had a melt down ... :SNIFF!: I had to get a RMA number and send it back. I sent if back and they where going to send me a replacement, but that part number was discontinued. Right now I'm using my spare Nvidia 7600 card .. I plan on getting a Asus or try a new Sapphire again. Most likely it's going to be a HD 3870 X2, what try still up in the air .
Take your time, I can wait ...
I'm not a big fan of turn based strategy games, but GC:TA is GREAT ... I've been spending most of my free time playing it. Plus a few hours of Sins when I have time too. Looking forward to its release ...
Did you install and register it with Stardock Central? If yo did the serial number should be on there system. You should be able to load Stardock Central and input you user name and password. An the stardock should let you install you games it has on records for you ...
Christmas is over and I got what I asked for ... gift cards for BestBuy .. :CONGRAT: I just got most of my new hardware in for my new system. MSI K9A2 Platinum MB AMD Phenom 9600 Black Edition 4 GB DDR2 800mhz OCZ modules .. 2 Asus HD 3870 cards 2 WD 500GB sata2 HDs 1 floppy drive 1 DVD drive 1 Ultra X3 1000w PSU 1 Mid-Tower Case The on
The beta for this new add-on has played better then most game releases lately IMHO ... Not many companies would delay a release, to improve it for the customer base. I'm looking forward to the March release. Looking to future products Stardock ... :CONGRAT: :CONGRAT:
I'm a star trek fan.. I prefer the original Star Trek series. I like the Mirror episode too. Also, there was a episode about 2 planets waging war for a few 100 years and the computers running it. I'm not sure what it was called. On a side note, I'm a big fan of Space 1999 and UFO series. Also, the last star trek series called Enterprise was a real let down. The only series that didn't make the seven year mark.
Merrie Christmas to ALL ... An a happy new year ... Looking forward to the new year ...
Hi, Right now, is the best time to buy new hardware. You can buy it from Gateway, HP or Dell. You should be able yo get a good mid range system for under $800 with a LCD screen.
Hi, If it's a bad power supply, why can't you just buy a replacement for it? Is there more issues other then a bad PSU?
How many other games from 1998 are still played today? very very very few.. to have survived for this long shows its a game worth making a sequal out of
I like SC, but haven't played it in years. I also, prefer Enemy Nations too. The game is still around and its free too. I would like to see Windward Studios make a remake of the game, it doesn't look like it's going to happen.
