Reply to Results: Where did you hear about GalCiv II from? in GalCiv II News GalCiv2 Forums

I initial heard about the game from GameSpot when they sent out the fact the demo was available. Which I then read up on the game, downloaded the demo, and then purchased the game. So while I answered GameSpot but I'm wondering how many were in the same boat as me so just because the demo got a 1% it may not actually be the case.

Okay, I just got the game and have played a bit and learned a lot already but there are a couple thing I still don't under stand after reading through the manual and posts here. These center around combat with ships, starbases, and ships in planetary orbit. I am cueently just running through the campains to learn the game. How do starbases work?
