Connection Issues in Multiplicity Stardock Forums

I'm getting pretty frustrated with Multiplicity. In theory its a great idea, in practice it's lacking. I've even tried the beta build and have the same issue. If I do not bring the PRIMARY box online AFTER the secondary the connection never occurs. Both the primary and the secondary think they are connected but the mouse simply disappears off the screen on the primary. I've even tried unloading Multiplicity from both and restarting the service but it still doesn't work. I have to c

I wanted to install GC2 on my laptop so when I'm travelling I can still play. I get a message saying the SID doesn't match. So basically I have to buy another copy (like I would) for my laptop to play a game I already bought? What happens if my PC crashes or I reinstall the OS? I'm just screwed? For "not having copy protection", this is some pretty severe copy protection.
