Check if the updates did go to right places.. First time i tried, Impulse put TA patch to GC2 directory, not to /Twilight subdirectory... (check if you find TA/DA launcher/icons on wrong place..) uninstalling all from Impulse and re-installing them should fix this.. i dunno if there's shorter fix.

Wut? SDC had higher opposition... well i can imagine. I was pretty pissed when i realised i have to get it to patch the game. I strongly dislike digital distribution platforms... they just feel wrong. Though i was happy after i realised that SDC made patching pretty easy, problem is changing it to a new thing when old works fine. Sole soul: ty for help. I hope you got your game working. Hmm comparing this to WoW makes me feel better. Sometimes making WoW require
Quoting ozo, reply 9 2minutes? I used 3+ hours to get the patch work due Impulse. I had to uninstall, install and re-install the game/expansions before things started to work. If the patch had been available on SDC, nothing would have gone wrong. Yeah the patch is good i admit, even if it lacks the promised Arnor ship style though. Blue orb needs a massive CLICK ME ON IT. You had DA+TA installed to the wro

If you want yet another massive, completely free update, you need to spend 2 minutes installing an inoffensive piece of software which can be turned off/uninstalled any time you like afterwards. What is it with gamers these days and the insistence of 'I should get everything I want and how I want it'? Drives me mad.
2minutes? I used 3+ hours to get the patc

Gamers shall have the right to have their games not require a third-party download manager installed in order for the game to function." I get Impulse from Stardock. I get SoaSE and Gal Civ from Stardock. Who's the third party here?
Ahh hmm. Yeah no third party really but one still needs the additional program... that's what matters.
I dunno if i should laugh or cry... the frigging Impulse made a nice little mess of things. It installed the patch... for GC2, NOT Twilight. Yes the Twilight's patch is in wrong place... but it did reset my settings for TA. Thank you for messing up everything... NO NO NO (forget the above)... the thing's absolutely ****** up.... I'll uninstall the game and star all over again. See if that fixes this. If not, well....

D'oh i had to update Impulse MANUALLY because the friggin program (i think it's very early version though...) cited a problem while auto update. First - It's slow. 2nd - It looks good though and "Impulse" name's ok. One + Slow. Looks seem to be more important than performance, once again. OK i now have Impulse, i hope you guys at SD have fun that you've force me to use it... Too bad Elemental's gonna require it too. Still i got the patch which is most important

WOW! Where's the full change log? Oh.. Impulse has it... why not posted here? Duh, why i don't copy it... Ain't "full" really though. WAIT, they didn't make Ascension any better? No ability to adjust the time required or anything? Does the AI now actually care about that victory condition at least? Wow... Graphical style is awesome! It ain't cel-shading... is it? Well anyway it looks good. I have a few questions about moddability later. Name and backround story don't seem special (hopefully story's well written and gripping and plot's full of twists) but if the gameplay rocks and it's VERY flexible for modding (unlike GC2, that's just changing stuff really, not adding new abilities or anything), the game's gonna rock.

Fallout 3 seemed to be very good. But now that i've played it through, i'm not so sure anymore. I kinda wish combat was turn based... and that enemies could use VATS too, and no slow-mos except rarely. Combat works though and is not a real core problem of the game. Oh and VATS should have far more range... range where you can actually hit enemies. Graphically game looks very good, even on medium settings. Actor fa

Oh and how does that you can't kill story characters, only knock 'em unconscious?
Traditionally in TES games, killing a main quest NPC resulted in a "the threads of fate have been cut, you must reload a previous save to complete the main quest" message, or similar. Making them unkillable is just a different way to approach the issue (no accidentally killing someone important and noticing you hadn't saved in a while).
I know this. I love MW (mod

Yeah, RA3, FO3, others... Do the publisher just dislike Europe and Australia? As for difficulties, ty. I think i'll go for hard too. Oh and are they easy, normal and hard or is there more? Oh and how does that you can't kill story characters, only knock 'em unconscious? Friend of mine refuses to even try the game till the mini nuke is removed and one can complete the story while killing the story characters...

Sounds good... I wanna know two things though. First is, is there difficulty levels and what you recommend? From what i've heard, VATS makes combat more or less easy so i thought that i'd use normal difficulty if there's possibility for that. Second is, who the heck decided to release the game on Europe on 30th day rather than same day as in N-America, 28th? It ain't logistical reason... just to annoy Europeans, brag about having the game earlier or what? I'm pretty su
