I know what's resizing it. It's the MFU List (Most frequently used programs). The old version let you set which elements required all text be shown or not. In this one apparently the MFU list must show the full program title, yet the Taskbar section doesn't require this. Odd. Anyone know of a way to customize this like in old 1.6 versions? If not i may just remove the MFU list...
Yeah, but then everytime you reboot it reverts to the wide size. No way to save it in that size. Forgot to mention that part.
I'm having this same issue w/ the new objectbar. The resize option simply automatically sets the width of the bar so that the full text of all items show (not counting taskbar apparently though...). I'm running a bar on the left side of my screen and have an MFU list in it. Some of the program names are rather long, so it keeps making the bar very long. I'm running object bar and I have a "Shutdown Dialog" command on it to bring up the shutdown screen, but when I click it it just hides the bar. I have to hit the Windows key to get the bar to show again. In order to shutdown I have to Ctrl-Alt-Del and use task manager to shutdown. Any ideas?
I run IconX and ObjectBar. Had to format the laptop recently and reinstalled them and now they won't load at startup. I've checked the boxes but once i hit ok and open the window again it's unchecked. I have MCP SmartStart checked in SDCentral. Any ideas?
I'm loading IconX through the SMP SmartStart, as I like how it hides everything going on behind and just shows you when everything in OD is loaded, however when I load IconX this way it always comes up w/ the settings window open. Is there anyway to stop this? Thanks.
i made a systray in desktopx. however when i click or rightclick anything in it, it activates the object to it's right. how do i correct this offset?

I'm trying to use a verticle taskbar on my desktopx, but the icons won't show up right. they repeat and overlap all the way down the bar. like, its set on 200px height. if i only have one program open, the icon sort of streaks down in a verticle column. how do i get them to appear normally? also, id like to have the program labels appear, but i can't adjust the font to make it fit.
