OMG dont complain about it!! They'll nerf (make everything suck) the bejeezus out of the game in the next patch...be happy you can mop the galaxy with a single ship. Think of all the BC you save by only having one ship do the work of several armadas. And if you want more of a challenge then dont research the tech.
