Just finished the game. I maintain that a score of 6 out of 10 is fair for the game. There are several points in the game I'd like to criticize, where it seems that no matter what you do, the story continues due to deus ex machina, rather than as a natural progression of what you've been doing. The story itself is great and the missions themselves are great, but the storytelling of the overreaching plot is rather horrible. Especially towards the end where it's suddenly "Let's end this

Well I can't really talk about the real combat mechanics, because I try to stay out of it. And for that purpose, I've found the pistol great. Silent kills all-around. :p

Alright. Tried the program and it works great (which is more than you can say about my computer). It's simply amazing. Just execute, and it self-downloads and self-installs everything, program-by-program, in the background. What usually takes me a whole night of configurations and so on only takes me about 5-10 minutes. I'm blown away by how great this works. :D

While I was in the process of reformatting my computer, doing backups, and sorting through my files, I just happened to come across this; http://freenew.net/ I haven't used it yet. I've just downloaded the executable to run it after my reformat tomorrow, but if it works as advertised I must just say that I'm.. I'm.. I'm crying manly tears here. This will be a huge help, since I regularly forget from one moment to the next what I was d

I was never a fan of the series, really. Dungeon Siege 2 was OKish but nothing to get warmed up over. I only played Dungeon Siege 1 after playing Dungeon Siege 2 and it just felt horribly old. It may have been good back then, but it's not what I'd call a timeless classic. That said, I think this could actually turn out reasonably good. Square Enix and Obsidian could probably produce a fairly competent action RPG, since they're not supposed to make much sense anyway. [quote who

Been trying this out some today, and I must say that, overall, it's somewhat decent. Unfortunately, the fact that it's a cheap console port to PC shines through in most aspects of the game. The menues are obviously consolized, but this is (today) a minor annoyance at best. What is worse are the counterintuative in-game controls, such as pressing Z or C, which also pauses the game, to bring up a menu, simply to change gadgets, weapons and so on. It makes it cumbersome to switch, where a PC gam
