My brain just broke from reading the thread title.

I am desperately trying to find a reason as to why this thread was needed, instead of posting in the previous, dedicated thread.

Can we order this through Impulse? I guess I could fire up Impulse and check. But I'm lazy.

Oh, man. This is just disturbing.
As far as I know, the only way to get the Collector's Edition is straight from Stardock. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. :)

Dwarf Fortress for example looks really interesting to me, but I am simply not willing to invest the personal time I would need to be able to even understand what the screen is showing me behind those non-representational ASCI graphics. And that's speakng as a man who played hundreds of hours on old school ASCI games like Moria and Ancien
I'm going to confess here and say that I actually like to give myself a bit of an edge, although complete godmode would feel extremely pointless. I suppose I just like the feeling of my character being at least a little bit better than everyone else. But to answer the question; I doubt that you will be able to do this on Sovereign creation, but you will likely be able to do it either in the workshop, or by simply modding one of the .xml files. It's very easy.

Resist is right. The beta is not a demo - to think to use it as such is really, really dumb. It's a beta. It's not even supposed to be fun. The first parts of the beta were downright agonizing. Edit: But to answer your question, no .

This makes me glad, so very glad, that I actually bought The Witcher in the first place, when it was released. This pretty much indebts me to aquire The Witcher 2 when it is released. As long as it supports all the newer, basic resolutions, I couldn't give a rat's arse whether or not it has "HD graphics". The difference in graphics between some older games and some newer games are negligible at best. Sure, it's noticeable, but it doesn't excuse the relative increase in costs and the subsequent cutbacks in story and gameplay. Edit: Dear god in heaven, T
