I agree with the suggested game mode, as long as it auto-saves every single round both at the beginning and the end of a turn. But perhaps more importantly, don't make the AI better for the Ironman or Hardcore mode. You'd be artificially constricting the availability of said AI, making a lot of people that don't play Ironman/Hardcore unhappy - including me.
the thing is..is Dragon Age origins a nonlinear game like Oblivion, or is it more like Bauldar's Gate?? Tha is not something that i am clear on. I have a feeling that it is going to be like Divinity 2.
There is a more general Dragon Ages thread for questions like this, but to answer it; Dragon Age is a more linear game, probably comparable to Baldur's Gate II - in my opinion probably even more linear since that's the way B
Luckmann, trust me, something as popular like Dragon Age Origins, someone will probably leak the copy onto torrent before the release dates a week ahead of time, and when the date of release comes, probably someone will crack the entire game and find all those extra goodies that people are missing due to their method of ordering the game. this is not something you have tow wait long. If you buy the game, then someone online will always

It wouldn't. If I knew my destiny and that was truly my destiny, it was probably my destiny to know it beforehand. Destiny is unchangable. Constant. I couldn't possibly change it, unless the destiny I was shown was a lie - in which case it doesn't matter, anyway. What if you were God?

A lot of people say "Oh, those small things doesn't really matter in the big game. There's other items that are better.". That's not the point! I'm sure that most of this stuff is stuff I'd never be using for my main character, even if I'm sure that most of it would see use in a game, with multiple party members. The point is that it's a constant annoyance that I don't have access to it, simply because of a marketing scheme! I want to play the game on release day just as much
That is an absolute mess! Just by the standard game - I suspect within a week you'll be able to get everthing on e-bay anyway. Certainly better than trying to decipher that obscure collection of offers. Thankfully this seemes to be the worst offense against "exclusive content", however, I'd brace for even more rediculous setups in future. *shivers*
Exactly. I think a lot of people will initially turn to piracy, be

Anyone feel like sharing a direct link, for those of us that doesn't want to sign up for yet another "social site"? Edit: Actually found a direct link on an independant site. Thought I'd take the time to share since I took the time to ask for it to begin with: http://files.bioware.com/dragonage_cc_dl/DragonAgeOriginsCharacterCreator_en

Uh.. I would if I could, but for some reason, all my posting-button-things have disappeared, and I don't think traditional IMG-tags works, especially since I can't go into HTML-mode since.. well.. umm.. that button is gone too. They're all done, though. Bar whatever I possibly missed. Edit: http://sharebee.com/3313e973 Threw them up there. It includes most, if not all, previous avatars. It may also include some duplicates or may inexplicably miss one or two medallions. Edit2: Godammit.

Alright. That's it. I was extremely sceptical to their "all games will be on our servers, achtung!" -approach from the beginning, for a wide array of possible issues that will inevitably crop up in the (far) future. I really wasn't expecting this to be one of them, though. With an already shaky line with wildly fluctuating speed and no options for anything better, this killed it for me. Not because I'm a huge multiplayer, but because the practice

Not that I'm saying you're wrong or anything, but I thought she pretty much just made royalties for letting them use her books, but the director/writers got to do pretty much whatever they wanted. I know for a fact, thought, that the reason Holes stayed so close to the book is because the author, Louis Sachar, wrote the screenplay as well.
W

On the subject of cloth map/3D map zoom/change, I want to repeat my request for a simple 'Hold-down'-key to switch "live" between the two, without the need to zoom. I'm sure I'd end up using it a lot, switching between 'eye-candy' and 'clear view'. The heritage system could be interesting, although having it as an isolated "great thing" could easily lead to an overemphasis on it. I'm not saying it's not great, just that I hope that things surrounding it is equally innovative and engrossing. That said, it opens up the issues of what I'm going to do with my God-Childs. This doesn't lend itself well to my idea of the Theocratic Magocracy at all. How will I claim godhood with children running all willy-nilly over the land? A

I'm split. I actually like the enviroment (grass, wasteland, river, mountain) in "No HDR" better, but certain doodas (the trees, the nodes) look better in Soft 75. Soft 100 made me uncertain if I should go to the optician or not and gave me an instant-headache.
