Dont know about the above player but I have x-fi audigy 2 sound card and having the studdering issue. Any ideas for work arounds or eta on fix?

Perhaps I am missing something but is there some way to repair starbases or are they suppose to autorepair some how? None of mine seem to fix themselves - ever.
