Well, I would say rook is probably the least used demigod in a competitive atmosphere. I'm not trying to hose him, I like playing rook and he has a spot in push teams, but with his slow ass speed, on maps like prison where there is a lot of movement he will be a liability. Rook needs a lot of help from his team to survive ganks, as he is probably the only demigod that can't just run away b4 they hit if you are paying attention and notice b4 they get to you. Well what you are saying there goes against the post you listed earlier, as every1 seems to agree that 120 bonus damage is the max however you quote a different figure. I will side toward you atm, as I have not looked at it myself. I will do so whenever i get off my lazy arse. From what I'm understanding you are saying SP lvl damage x 1,2,3, or 4 which is based upon how many spirits you ahve out. I will submit that I am not a know everything about oak, however I can play oak very well. I can play pretty much all the demigods very well. However i only specialize in support regulus. Eskendale you keep mentioning 140 max damage, and as well mentioning you get +40 damage from switching between SP 1 and SP 2 (at least when we have 3 spirits out). Actually, I think sedna can scale well if you artifact and level up pounce. At lvl 16, she can get massive hp regen when she drops low, as well as gaining evasion and mvt speed when she pounces, on top of how lame healing wind 2 plus high priests are.

To kermo, when in the fire "stance" you cannot chase and auto attack. This is a bug and is needing to be fixed for awhile now. Frost presence does not suffer from this however (ie you can chase and attack). I personally don't like hybrid builds because the stance dancing causes you to lose dps and kills. Plus fire presence is so bad except for casting your fireball. I don't think you should bother with fire aura since, at least for me, you'd stay in frost almost constantly. Plus lvl 2 frost a

Right so rereading that post, which i have seen b4 roughly when it first came out, I see that the amount you get per minion is not based on the level of the soul power. You get a flat bonus from the soul power level, and then an extra 20 per satisfication of # of spirits. So that means that lvl 2 soul power, with 1 minion, gives +40, but with 6 minions gives 40 + 20 + 20 = 80 damage. If you only had lvl 1 soul power this would give you 60 damage. Leveling up soul power is a waste. It does not increase how much damage you get from each spirit, only gives you 20 damage. You are also getting lvl 1 surge way to early imho. Lvl 1 surge is terrible, and a waste of mana. Also divine justice does not scale well, I recommend only one level of it. By preventing these unneccesary skill placements you open up levels for shield and spirit ward, increasing your survivability and dps. Unfortunately, I will have to agree with mesa that until this gets fixed you might as well take advantage of it because the other team certainly will, and does. I find it very bothersome, however you can stop it from happening. Kill the damn high priests, it's not like they have more than 1.2k (?) hps anyway. Man you guys drive a hard bargain! If I don't go running off to league of legends and/or this community doesn't die I may well have to take you up on this offer. Used to do a lot of dota replay watching for leagues and became quite a critic. Course I also wasn't 1/2 the player Col.Fear is/was (more like 3/4 :P). Listen that is a strategy. Rush to giants is a viable way to win this game. However to execute it, you have to buy loads of flag locks (keeping you low on cash) and have to control the majority of the flags. That means that sometimes you gotta suicide to keep the enemy portal flag and flag lock it.
