Black Screen With Sound, and a Curser in Bug Reports GalCiv2 Forums

I just installed the game and tried running it. Received the Black Screen, Curser is only visible object. I tried updating the game to Version 1.10[b4].018. It did not solve anything. I updated my Nvidia Graphics card with the DirectX 9.0c. Still no changes. I do receive a message to switch Resolution from 800 x 600, but its already applied to the correct resolution. Is there anything else I am required to do? Thank You
