Yeah. We already knew that. It is just that if MS has a WA skin converter in WMP then one might feel it is OK to rip skins that way. That and if other companies are going to do the same then skinner's rights will be violated easier than ever.

/me nibbles on goodmorphing I did the same test with the words "huggle" and "nibble". For some reason "nibble" won. Probably due to the fact that a nibble is also refered to as half a byte. Those computer nerds hijacked all the fun meanings of that word! /me huggles feline The new additions to the GCMP look great. There is one problem with it, because it is made of chocolate itself
I did ask that question to the lead programmer (Neil Banfield) of WB a few minutes ago on IRC. This is what he told me: (MadIce): Is StartMenu skinning included in the shareware version of WB? (WBlinds): yes (MadIce): What if it does not work? (MadIce): Any suggestions? (WBlinds): usually that means one of 2 things (WBlinds): 1) the skin does not include those images (WBlinds): or (WBlinds): 2) there is a glitch and you need to reboot (MadIce): OK. Thanks
What do you mean by building? Without being too technical making software involves: 1) Programming (a shell is merely just another program with a collection of ueser interface facilities). The program is just a series of commands and declarations in a text file. You need just a simple text editor to make such code. Often it is written in a language called C or C++. 2) Compiling. The text made in step #1 is translated in a form that is easier to manage for software in step #3. The f
Looks like it. I can only make one conclusion about that. Admins appear to be humans too. [Message Edited]
Yes. Looks very odd to me. Is there a way you can export the converted skin? Or doesn't WMP allow that?
Since this is not an academic case, maybe you can give us some screen shots of both skins. That would make things easier.
About image masks: There are two kinds. One is used for colorizing and the other one is used to mask the shape of UIS1+ borders.
Shmoopy: Why did you delete posts #12 and #13 and replace it with "goodnight" and "grr"? You still haven't answered to that. [Message Edited]
/me remembers that he must have it zipped somewhere...
Hippy? Isn't Mike that dude from IRC? jebland: I agree with both.
Did you see me closing any doors? It is all part of the Great Chocolate Master Plan. The GCMP was brought to you life from Chocolate City. /me suddenly remembers that song on the first Parliament album...
Let's just say that I don't like it when she deletes posts #12 and #13 and replaces them with "goodnight" and "grr". The "corrections" of (let's call it) less polite remarks. That is very naughty.
So, you are now deleting your own posts? You _are_ smart. > [Message Edited]
/me wipes the s**t from his face Transmutate - SLR I love all his work /me goes to look for a sledge hammer.
Thanks for proving my point.
I would praise the day that we have the Experimental section. I wouldn't have to visit this ridiculous message board anymore. Every day I see more and more skinners nagging about downloads and leet download junkies who by accident bought a Stardock product. Grrr.
And what's up with your nick? Geez. >
I fully agree with Styl skinner. What is this? Are we getting another melodrama?
GLport: I told you before: nothing will change for you. People with the title "Apprentice" should care about this community. You obviously do not. You don't even read what I write. The only thing you care about are downloads, comments and ratings. Now move along. Nothing to see here. [Message Edited]
Shall I leave the chocolate light on? (no answer) /me pushes the button *click* (whispering) Night...
Now where is George? /me looks at his watch Sleeping, eh? Wake him up and tell him to kick his psuedo random number genarator. We have an emergency and need this feature now!
I like the idea of a random showcase. It will not favor already known artists, but it will also show skins of others. Including new talent. Good idea Shmoopy!
