Thanks and welcome. There are a lot of different skin formats. Each skinnable app has its own format. So we can't give you a simple answer. To learn more about how to skin for a given app go to the website of the producer. Often you'll find more information there.

BTW: There are docs included. The SDPlayer doc (SDPlayer.txt) is in the SDPlayer folder of Object Desktop. The DXPlayer doc (DXPlayer.txt) is in the SDPlugins folder of DesktopX.

You must lock the object. Or else you cannot drag the button. Properties -> Relation -> Movement = Locked Now it will stay foot! MadIce.

XPBar is just a 30 day trial version of ObjectBar. That is common practice in ShareWareLand and a nice way to give people the chance of trying before buying. The fact that it is offered doesn't mean you have to download it. Next time you people want to say something sensible please think before you write.

Not a good idea for me to reply as I may be considered the guy that likes WinAmp skins to disappear However, one that I used for a very long time was a dark and rusty one. Maybe some bullets in them. Lost that one. Any one knows which one I mean and how it is called?

Maybe some of your objects is using a failing plugin. Does DX crash or is it still running? If it is still running and you have saved your theme then right click on the desktop. Select DesktopX. Select Object Browser. Select the object which is using a plugin and delete it. Reload DesktopX. If that didn't help to solve the problem then reload the theme and delete another object. Repeat this until you found the object that causes DX to freeze.

WBAmp requires WindowBlinds and you need to make changes to the UIS-file and add some graphics (for the buttons and the display) to the skin to make it work. Read the documentation that comes with WBAmp for details.

I think it is a bad idea. It would be better to have the section named to the app that does the skinning. A tradional Windows theme doesn't need that because Windows does the skinning itself. But themes for DesktopX just run under Windows and are skinned by DesktopX. Don't give people the illusion that they need just Windows and that DesktopX (in this example) is not involved. This is misleading. Another approach could be that you divide the sections in groups that have headers like "De

One of our favorite skinners is a speed devil himself. Try this one: https://www.wincustomize.com/skins.asp?searchtext=GSXR&library=1&sort=updatedate&order=Descending&image1.x=19&image1.y=15 The fastest skin in the collection. OK, it is not a NASCAR theme. But a bike theme is maybe close enough?

Ah. I see your problem. I tried it myself. The problem is not what you are suggesting. I am registered to 3 SD products. The mail returns only 2 of them and CursorXP is not on it! This can be fixed. Thanks for your response.
