I am not allowed to post the link, because it needs to be fixed in the registered users database (so I am told). Instead I will contact the proper authorities to solve this
MadIce
I am trying to solve this. Be right back or espect someone from Stardock to respond.
Use the Support page (https://www.stardock.com/support) to be sent the latest link for registered users.
In addition, some people have a title but prefer not to show it. There is even one that hates it soo much that he has his own title: "Janitor".
It is my understanding that you will get a new e-mail with the new link. Alberto just asked me to test the new link Doreen: I am doing OK .A bit busy (like always). The theme was called "spun". Shoggot never finished his cursors. But the ones he did were pretty amazing Can't you ask a friend to help you with dra
Hi Doreen! You are OK? I am hooked on them too. Still got those amazing Shoggot cursors And all your first attempts in doing a CX theme
One thing that you missed is to ask for a scripting language Believe it or not, that is included in CXP 1.09! One of the things it does is to allow for better control of each frame in the animation. /me tries to use the script to add a multi-media player, but is worried that the controls will end up on the cursor itself. How would you click on such controls? <img src="http://images
Try irc.stardock.com (port 6667) at #Stardock. Good time to visit is during the US day-time or European evening. Skinners, users and Stardock developers meet on that small server. Alternatively, you should also visit CavNet at irc.thirty4.com (port 6667). You will find various irc channels of skin sites there. Maybe we will meet and chat for a while
Probably a bit late, but it this a nice articel Thanks for sharing it. BTW: Number one author? Really? Let me have a look. (j/k)
I was given the opportunity to play with GalCiv (thanks for that!) and it looked promising. The graphics are well done. For some reason I missed the original OS/2 version ;) There are no online docs and there is no introduction. Therefor it is hard for me to figure out how to play it. I understand that the game is in development, but maybe help should get some attention. In a game I was working on we made an in-game interactive tutorial. It worked rather well. That even saves y
Happy birthday, Paxx. Thanks for all you have given us.
Drop by from time to time, Carlitus!
Another point is the WB basic skin format (UIS1+). This format is designed to skin apps that have trouble with regular WB skins. These are are not only faster, but have features like skinning minimized MDI windows and 15 border styles. The format is a subset of the regular WB format, but I doubt that it has less features than MS styles.
I don't want to know why I don't want to know this
Currently BMPs and PNGs are supported. PNGs are used to make per pixel translucency easier.
BTW, Feline: SDPlayer allows you to assign a hotkey to the viewer. Right click the SDPlayer icon in the system tray. Select Options. Select Viewer. Select Hotkey. In time there will be an easier to manage hotkey configuration. At least it works
Currently there are no plans to do visualization stuff. We need to address other features first, like clip names showing on a DX object, the viewers title bar, the system tray icon and the taskbar button. Next thing we will implement are volume, pan, bass and treble controls (faders/sliders). More features are planned. I think it is not possible that third party software can do visualization stuff, without the help of SDPlayer.
Nope. My BlackAndBlue object was until now the only one. I have seen a nice one from Werewolf he made recently, but that one was yellow and red
The order is unimportant. You are probably right in that the double click was the problem.
Found it: "Start with" should be set to Single click and not normal.
On the news groups another user had problems with objects responding to double clicks too. I also have another object (not player related) which contains several buttons. Some of them are activated by single clicks and others by double clicks. I think this is a DX bug and have nothing to do with my player.
Another possibility. If you start an MP3 file by double clicking it then another player will play it. Probably WinAmp in your case. Terminate WinAmp and drag the MP3 or movie file to the viewer. Probably that will make it work
Feline: That is odd. The object on my machine works with single clicks. And if it does not respond then maybe the player has been moved. The player should be in the SDPlayer folder of Object Desktop. To reinstall (just for the security) terminate the player and double click SDPlayer.exe. DXPlayer should then be able to find it. MadIce you say? Never heard of him. Weird name, BTW.
DX 1.1 not only includes the new scripting facility, but also has a media player called StardockPlayer. Unlike other players it does not have its own skinning format. Instead it is skinned by DesktopX. Later on it can be skinned by ObjectBar and WindowBlinds too. The player supports variou
