Although I'm sad that there won't be the small ship expansion pack, I guess I can wait a bit for a full scale expansion.

Wow! Races completely destroyed! I love the idea of that! It is something you don't often see in games. I do have one suggestion though, allow all researched techs to be carried over to future missions.

I have a mixed opinion on this. On the one hand multiplayer is a must in a strategy game. On the other hand I use single player so much more than multiplayer that an entire expansion full of bling for my starships and cool new features. Overall, for the low price of it I would buy it either way.
