Yes Stars! templates was/is a very powerfull tool to reduce micromanagement. I really would like to see this being implemented because gigantic galaxies with >250 planets are simply a nightmare to manage... It would be nice to be able to create different templates to use according with PQ and your wish, Early Build, Research Planet, Manufacture Planet, PopEco, etc... Couple this with an automatic "bonus-tiles building" and you will get a 90% reduction in micromanagement time.

Unfortunately I've got the same "boring syndrome" that you describe even in Medium sized galaxy....I really hope the SD crew will find a way to makes games still interesting after you own the "Leader stick". And I don't think this is in noway related to the difficuty level you choose to play, as soon as you have the biggest militar rating, research and economy than every AI become very very timid and try to be your friend....it should be the opposite way: the stronger you are the bigger the
I would like this too, a little fiscal paradise...Cayman planet sometimes a lesser quality planet simply doesn't have free tiles for morale boosting improvements and bigger planets have a very bigger population than the average planets have. On the other hands this should not unbalance the whole "morale vs taxation" thing so I rather keep whatever the Stardock people think to be more appr
Yes, it would be a good improvement to list them in a clearer way. It is just too much painfull to read through it searching for a specific tech, when you play with No Share Tech it is really important to look at the intell-report ! Maybe you could use a color-code to differentiate technologies which you have, you don't, nobody else have. Hope this could be solved easily.
unless, of course, you've gone ahead and chosen Neutral as your alignment...that changes things How does it change things in fact ? I can't figure out exactly how it work. Is it that all possibles terraforming tiles, yellow, orange and red, get "green status" or are only the ones you are actually seeing in planetary screen ? And what i
@ vimes2004 Nicely said and so much sensed.... and needed too !
This is my first post here, so I wish first of all to thank Frogboy and all the people from SD for their dedication to the gamers.... Unfortunately I should agree with the most of the comments here, the AI is definetively too passive, at least for a 40 y.o. Grognard I managed to "OVER-leading" my first game (10 times stronger than any other AI "intelligent-level" opponents in all re
