I think (All though I am not sure) that Stardock is trying to create bigger maps, but maps wich are too big would kill most computers, and stardock must navigate around this.

Most likely, PQ planets will NEVER be able to be colonizae, because the enveronment is completely seperate from the PQ. There is a picture somewhere on this forum that shows a planet with High Gravity, and a PQ of 10. The two things are different. My point is: If you set your expectations too high, then you'll only be disapointed.

In this picture, ( Link , Top Picture) One of the hulls completely dwarfs the Terran Medium Hull. My question is: Will their be even larger hulls in Dark Avatar than the current Huge Hulls, or will larger hull simply be bigger visually?

I would love something like this! However, this may not be what they meant. From the pictures I've seen, they have either added a hull size even bigger than Huge, or made the larger hulls seem larger visually, because in this picture, ( Link , Top Picture) One hull absolutly dwarfs the Merium Terran Hull. Or, it may be the viewer will present more dramatic views.

Military starbases to not attack ships. They increase the attack and deffense of ships within the area of effect. However, you need to first add modules which do these things. Also, to improve defense, you need to have at least one point worth of any of the defenses. (Does not matter which one) The same goes with attack.

Thanks for tha comments. I have a disclaimer: I have not play-tested this mod enough to find bugs, so if anyone finds one, please, let me know. In addition, I just realized that I need to add something to the English file so that if someone tries to attack a minor with the UP law enabled, then a pop-up will come up saying that cannot be done. I have no idea how to do this, so if someone can do this, please let me know!

On this game, I played on normal. (I normally play on Challenging, but I had just updated to v1.3, and was testing the changes with this game) I do not know how I got an alliance with the Drengins. Somehow, without really trying, I climmed up to close. In this game, I played with all races. The Altarians were wiped out during one of the early Galactic Wars. The Iconians, Korx, and Yor were gone (I think) before the Galactic Wars, early in the game. The Thalans were actually able to stay

This was an unusual game I played recently. I, The Terran Alliance, had allied with the Arceans and the Drengins. The Drengins has uncovered a device that was making them more powerful by the minute, and I, being an opertunistic (expletive deleted) decided to join the bandwagon! Unfortunatly, the other races decided to declare war again, and again, and again. There was galactic-wide war several times, not just one! The worst situation looked like this: <a href="http://img367.imageshack

Hello. I would really like to know if there are any mods to the united planets. (In partucualar, adding issues) I have looked throughout the library and have found nothing. Is there any in the works by anybody?

One way this could work if the game diveded between military and civilian population. This way, both the attacking and defending forces would be smaller, and there would be population left over on the planet. There would be no need to destroy the transport because a tax base already exsits. This idea can be expanded to include a large variaty of other things, but that would be off topic. As it is however, the Transport needs to be destroyed because there needs to be a tax base on the pl

Ultimate Doom. A particular civilization is getting their abilities increased by 1% each week (turn). Eventually they'd be gods. What is to be done? Since this is already in the game, I can say from experience that this actually does not affect the game much. Perhaps the amount increased each turn should be increased.

Having the alliance broken when relations drop to friendly seems a bit harsh and hard to maintain. I like the idea, but I think that relations should drop to warm before the alliance comes apart by itself. If the AI can break alliances, (which it should), the AI might be more likely to break the alliance for other reasons at friendly; but the alliance should not be dropped automaticly at that point.

Civilization's Warlords has a vassal states, in fact. Warlords expansion introduces a new diplomatic option called Vassal State. Vassal states is like an "asymmetric alliance." Basically, one civilization serves as the master in the relationship and collects tribute from the weaker, vassal nation. There are two ways to acquire a vassal state: Du

Diplomatic Treaties. Players will be able to establish research and economic treaties with alien civilizations. In this way, they have other sources of money and research and have more tools to influence diplomatic relations. Source

For the Korx, see my first post above. However, I admit that if the AI is not designed to go after those things, it is not much of an advantage. They all ready have a "supper economy" because of their traits. For the Iconians, they all ready have a +20% research ability. I suggest that, since they are so adaptable, why can't they be more likely to steal techs through spying and through invation. They would be back engineering these technologies.
