I didn't have a drop with the program itself, but memory use and performance sure makes a difference depending on whose dream you are running. Some were to the point that I deleted them from the machine. The dreams are made by different people, using different methods, some on machines that would make a race car seem slow. Regular machines like mine I have to pick and choose a little. After a while I discover whose dreams run better than others on my machine and those are the ones

I got this wild idea to build and share a theme supporting our local college (who has done quite well in American football - Go Ducks) but started looking at the components. 1) School Mascot - copyrighted, 2) School Logo - copyrighted, 3) Font used - copyrighted, 4) School colors - open (except maybe the PRECISE shade), 5) Shapes, curls, contours - all mine (with appropriate credit to those who inspired me) So, what's the question? Is there ever a time when copyrighted stuff can b

Windows 7 for me was like having my neck relax when it's been completely tight for weeks. All the previous releases and my neck was tense weeks in advance knowing that all my friends, some clients, and my mother were going to be calling all the time until things got ironed out. Windows 7 was just smooth. I could even sleep at night. Looking at 8 I feel another headache coming on. Lord knows that I'm going to tell everyone who asks to stay away from it. Already friends and their busine

So if you want all your animations to be twice as fast as normal you set that to 50%. Take twice as long, set it to 200%. So the time for any given animation will be (per animation time) * global slider. If an animation normally takes 0.25 seconds and you set the

OK, I been playing with it. Tell me why the "global" animation speed is in percent of normal and all the individual sliders are in parts of seconds? I got it figured out what speed I wanted using parts of seconds so I decided just to use the global setting. How am I to know what percent over 100 does 0.05 equate to? Perhaps we would have the "global" slider reflect the slider for the individual times? I don't think percentage would work across the board as some things are different than o

We have a thing in the USA where you can add your telephone number to the National Do Not Call registry, and no one is supposed to call you with the old "Buy this...", "Free that..." type of crap. Unfortunately it does not work, people keep calling all the time and you cannot even report them to the Federal Communications Commission because the number coming in is faked,

Is spam a normal part of this forum? Especially spam spam? (Like three separate ones on the same thing?) If so, is there a way to hide a particular forum from what I see so they don't cover up what I think is important? I've been reading for a few months and don't remember spam before.

Problem is that it is already checked. Other than that bit of visual distraction there is no other problems I have found and I've been using it for three weeks. Usually I go to something else after a week. I'm so used to having Windows 7 64 that I don't even think that I'm on my Vista 64 machine (reformatting Win 7 soon to hopefully add some life to a dying HD)

Before I just dive in and attempt to remedy this by editing the skin (if possible) I'd like to know if it is something that is in the skin, or perhaps something with the existing computer skin settings. Or maybe my computer is acting badly (Windows Vista 64) and I need to remedy it some other way. I'm thinking it is probably something with my system as this is one of my favorit

No, no, not The Windows Club! Every time I go there I end up with at least five new programs... Before I started using WindowBlinds again I was using a cute little program that sets the backgrounds of individual folders. It still works fine, it's just WB lets me be lazier. (although limited to one background for them all) Neat story about the members of the club.

Help! The pigeons ate my homework (you know, the code pigeons on the error page I keep getting) I think this would be universal, not just Joe Rocket but... I went to update my web page in my account settings and the bad pigeons keep coming back. I haven't seen if they live on WC forum as well, but perhaps they do. I figure that either it is 1) broke or 2) not possible to edit an account that was started on WC on JU. Edit: I was able to change the web site via the a

Thanks. I've been reluctant to use my 5gb that came with my iPod as I'm not sure how I would get stuff back if the gadget was gone. I have a web hosting account. I have over 6gb of photos on it and that is only part of them. I was thinking of putting my documents there too. I'm not sure if this would be the same as "online backup" of any type, cloud included. Great article, it answered some questions.

I don't see anyone saying, "believe it or else". Don't ever travel to the Middle East, you start being exposed to religion about 4am (first call to prayer) and they quit exposing you to religion about 11pm (last call to prayer - there are seven all together) Religion (mostly Muslim where I was) permeates the news, advertising, and text books. It is this way everywhere. One of the ways they think we are crazy is that we don't have "freedom" the way they do. I about fainted when I h

I miss my bees. I only had two hives that were right next to a peach orchard. I've never had better honey before or since. My bees were some type of naturalized Italians. If I remember right I captured them with the help of a beekeeping friend. I remember one time I was smoking them to do some hive checking and discovered I had used one of my grandfather's helmets (he was a logger) that had a hole in the top. I ended up with over thirty stings on my head. Ouch. I was a bad beekeeper,
