I'm sorry, I'm really really sorry, but WHY OH WHY did you pay $450 for Windows Ultimate? There is absolutely NOTHING on this Earth to justify that price for any M$ OS. That's just crazy! What is wrong with people? What possesses them to spend SOOOOO much money on this OS or ANY Windows OS? Why not just spend another couple hundred dollars on a new computer? I got the same message. I have a Gateway 17" M675 1680x1050 laptop. I also have a Dell/Samsung 19" 1280x1024 monitor connected as well running both monitors just fine. At 1680x1050, I got this meesage and all I did was lower the res to 1440x900 and thru the video settings centered the res so that it wasn't expanded. When I changed this it worked. I didn't change anything but the res on my laptop monitor. So the only bummer is that now I have a smaller workspace on my laptop screen but a
