You have 2 ways of doing a minefield make a field that causes damage to hostiles within it or be make a structure that destroys itself upon a unit entering a field around it.

Most likely because the TEC doesn't have a model as the projectile.
Wrong, wrong, wrong! Theyr broken because they contain INVALID DATA.
Windows give us a sense of relative scale, assuming that windows are the same size which they should be. Honestly, having different sized windows doesn't just not make sense from a structural, economic, and defensive standpoint, it's simply ridiculous.since we can say that planet scale is out of whack compared to ships, we have to find some other static aspect on which to compare them. Windows provide this and, obviously, they feel a bit off. If you reduced the size of the marza and in
Advent get tradeports at 3 and vasari at 4.
What the hell do windows have to do with anything? and it quite easy to get good comparisons YOU just illustrated MY point. And if you don't know what I'm talking about... then what the hell is this? And btw theres a fighter bay right underneath that marza so I know perfectly well the scale of these things.
Kind of goes along with that idea but why not minor faction negotiations?(IE militia colonies)
I'm not much of a fan of some of the ship models in this game. One of the problems I think, particularly with the TEC capitals, is that the window detailing makes them look too small. By the window sizes I wouldn't say that they're much longer than 300 meters. I think if you're going to call something a capital ship it needs to at least break the 1km mark.
Compare a fighter to it and then say that. Frigates are about 3 or 4 times as large as a fighter, then a cruiser is a

There is a 100% chance that Iron Clad and StarDock WONT make a patch because of a few ships that a few people think look bad(and fewer still are those who agree on all the ships that need changing).
Maybe the Kodiak was a garbage hauler?
Correct cookie for PP.
When you're a juggernaut, there is no need to "look before you leap". Haha...
Watch this next game he plays his fleet ends up 6 jumps from the nemies homeworld and another 6 from his and his under attack. Note this post cannot be held responsible for exact numbers and dates.
Boats powered by human fat.
Regarding point #1: I don't mean to cockblock your little nerdgasm, but you're playing a game where aliens drive around shooting frickin laser beams at one another in space ships and you've somehow found the nerve to use the word "realism" as criticism?Seriously? You know for a fact there's no aliens driving around shooting fricking laser beams at one another in space ships, do you? This was as blatant an attempt at trolling as I've ever seen. To the OP, I can guess why they've done it this
Kruelgor the GreatSounds like an extremely bad WoW name. And the modders are smarter than you are, they probably won't overwrite the files of sins, instead make it a separate program so you still have the original game to play online.I wanted to use [MAGOG]Kruelgor but the forum settings wont allow it. So, Kruelgor the Great it is. Get use to it. I'll be around for a long time to come.
Watch this with in the next 2 months he'll stop posting.
Example 1: I see lets waste valuable time jumping your cap ship to clear out militia so you can colonize but oh wait! Its an ice/lava planet and you can't colonize it aww thats to bad a scout would have told you there was an asteroid on the other lane you could colonize oh well. Example 2: Oh goody 1 more jump before you finally wipe out blue but wait theres a fork in the road so... lets go right... Oh no its a pirate base! Half of your fleet is destroyed and you find
I think the Aegis Drone ship looks rather nice.
I make very few promises and when I do I keep them unless if it means a certainty of losing.
Fairly well most likely.
I repeat please add a filefront mirror.
Most TEC ships are either converted civilian trade ships(like all their cap-ships minus Kol and Sova) or desperate designs based around civilian ships, built to somehow stop the Vasari(like Kol, Kodiak and Garda). Only their Gauss Turrets, Sova Carriers, Javelis LRM Frigates, Hoshiko Robotics Cruisers, Fighters, and Bombers look like purpose-built military machines without any civilian background.
Already pointed out.
The Vasari are aliens and there is no
Thats 2 factions your talking about there when you say human(plus you HAVE to remember the TEC converts civy ships into military on a regular basis).
Sorry Kryo but I saw this had funny ads in it so I decided to contribute.
