Hi I bought Galactic Civilisations Endless Universe, on a Disk, German language. After installation I played GalCiv EU and Dark Avatar all right, but when I started Twilight I got a crash to desktop every time. I can start a game, choose all parameters, opponents etc, but when the universe is created i get a crash to desktop. i tried to change parameters i.e. number of opponents and size of universe, but that had no effect. any hints anyone? Thanks in advance
Where on the stardock website? Won"t I invite a whole lot of spyware along with this?
Oh sorry I wanted to say that I bought the game in a shop so I have a cd but did not dowlnload it if that makes any difference (?)
I just downloaded the V11 and the game asked me for an CD key. I entered the CD key but now it says the cd key is not associated with my e-mail address. I never entered any e-mail address? Where do I have to enter the E-Mail address?
This is overpowered in my version. They flip too easily.
So it is true, it seems not possible. I will try to emulate the effect by setting the number of stars to very rare (and inhabitable planets to rare too), but I think it is not the real thing. It may make space stations deep deep in space necessary, but there will not be enough plantes
Yes a lot of good ideas and the upgrading starbases really need (yes, needs!) some automation. If only I could give the waiting constructor a one - button order: fly on autopilot to and upgraded nearest economic/influence/etc. starbase... yes, that would be THE thing: a one button order! You could still fly your constructors to a special starbase you want to upgrade urgently, like now. But finding them all and upgrading manually, having to count how many you need there for upgrading
Hmmm... this does not appear on the list of postings. Hallo? is anyone out there? Space is too big already and has swallowed my posting
Yes but the idea is somehow stupid. I mean, if a planet food supply supports pop, it should grow. In reality (earth) pop even grows in places where it cant be supplied with food. Sorry to be so blunt. So that should be changed. Some games even grow the pop beyond food supply (which is normal anyway) so that gives you something else to worry about. More realistic, really.
Yes a very good idea!
Oh yes and what I forgot: It should be random maps in the game, not a scenario, if possible. I like normal random games, but just with much bigger maps to simulate the lonely feeling of vast empty space...
Hello I posted this question before (I think) but then my net froze. Anyway do you know if there is any way to make the map much much bigger? Say 64x64? Or more? Thanks in advance
