Hi all, I hope the 720p resolution is working well for those using it! I'd love to know what you think of it along with any other game-related suggestions for improvement if anything comes to mind. RealMutter/Mperlmuter
So far so good. I am using on an original Steam Deck but with Windows 11. Scaling seems to be working perfectly. Font size is obviously on the
Hey all, I have good news! The team here at Stardock is working on 720p support and it is currently expected to be ready sometime in February, although that planned date is of course subject to change. -RealMutter/Mperlmuter
OH MY GOD. Thank you so much. I am so happy right now.

I want to emphatically second this. There will be an army of players wishing the same. Strategy like Gal Civ is perfect for the SteamDeck and other handheld consoles. Sit back, relax, take it easy and play at your own pace. Lovely. But we can't because of the UI not scaling.

Guys, can I just ask how playable is this now? What's missing etc? Not fussed about crashes as I always get those anyway, more the content. I was desperate to play TA over Christmas and am gutted you put it back (for the best I suppose). But I don't want to ruin my enjoyment with something that is too far from the retail release? What do you reckon?

Ahhhhh...ok. I got it now. ... However, in the process I screwed some things up trying. Can anyone send me a clean GC2Ships.xml file? I don't want to reinstall and a lot of the AI's ships are now invisible. .. Big thanks as well to the creators of the Star Trek ships - it really is excellent work, my game is starting to look like an updated BOTF.

Hey CariElf - thanks, that's one hell of a guide. It has allowd me to mess around with many things. However, I'm still having trouble gietting rid of the CORE ships and replacing them with the models I want. I would appreciate if anyone can write a quick guide on how to replace say: a human dreadnaught with a mod created ship.

I was looking into completey modding my game, and can't seem to find out how to edit the 'core' ships. For example, if I was to create the Romulan Empire (which is relatively easy to do), how can I make sure that the AI builds say...a warbid hull ship in place of the core dreadnaught design? Some help if you can give. Many Thanks.

Was just searching the forum and came across this thread. I#ve successfully added my own minor races and all is sweet...however, it's a bit time consuming. Is there a pre-released mod with the CFG file and the pictures already done that adds lots of new minor races?

I've only just got GC2 and think it's one of the best games ever. Having played the likes of the first game and another personal fave of mine 'Star Trek: Birth of the Federation' - this game is right up my street. However, I was wondering if there are any 'complete patches' out there that change the game into a Star Trek universe? ie. races, ships and so on... I used to love modding Star Trek Armada and even Birth of the Federation back in the day...and although
