When I dl'd the rainy for Optix I had to have it. As for Stingray I've only heard it mentioned but never saw it until I checked out Master Skins. Going to make a separate folder just for them and whatever Master and/or Premium Skins I purchase. For the price it can't be beat. Now if I can just remember which ones I already have

Two rainies I tried to upload failed with the same error code. At first I thought it was the skin but using the old page it worked perfectly. I saw a dialogue for about five seconds but no progress bar after that on both occasions. This about three or four days ago...maybe longer.

Sunday April 15, 2007 - 3:57 am I just got the m.o. for my subscription. Sending it out as soon as daylite happens. This after talking about it and saving up my pennies. Also...going to purchase two great Master Skins, Optix by Mike314 and Stingray by Z71. Kudos to Stardock and all the skinners out there. You guys rock!! I opened folder options, view, show hidden files and folders. No thumbs.db shows up in Oval Glass folder. I'm not sure what's going on with this one. All my other rainies I've uploaded without so much as a hiccup. No problem with thumbs or anything. Why only this one? Folder size is 46.5kb. There is no thumb.db in it. Only the png background, buttons and ini file...that's it.

Ohhhhh...didn't know that. Question though...it didn't make it to the gallery. I thought perhaps something wasn't right with it. I'm curious to know why exactly. Anyway...thank you for the heads up. Btw...isn't the preview required so that people can see what they are downloading or at least viewing.

Latest rainy submission in Skinning WinCustomize Forums

Got a reply from my latest rainy submission. First it was approved, then rejected, then Snowman told me to remove the jpg image and the thumbs.db from the folder. I don't know about the thumbs.db, couldn't see it. I thought the background I used was offensive, it isn't. I would never do that. I'm curious however as to why it did not meet guidelines though. It was my first try at a glass rainy.

xp for me for at least 3-4 more years,and i love it. thats my 2 pennies. as far as vienna....no rush for that either. Ditto times three (reference reply #17)Xp runs damn good on my rig. This might help too...create a folder on your G drive and name it WB archive or something. Move the WB skin to that folder, delete in WB config then install update. Works every time. If any problems occur you always have the original to fall back on. Just a suggestion. Hope it's all working out for you.
