Here's an old one. A guy who has a glass eye goes to bed each night right after putting his glass eye in a small bowl of water next to a glass of water by his bedside. One night, after a hard day at work, he comes home exhausted and decides to go to bed early. Putting his glass of water beside the bowl, he stretches and, unable to keep his eye open, takes out his glass eye and puts it on his night table. During the night he wakes up thirsty and grabs his glass of water and chugs it down.

Very deceptive some of them. Tell you to tune your rig or rid it of malware etc. then the only thing it does is scan your computer and if there is a problem you got to pay to remove it..ie...buy the program. Which is why I don't bother with them. Been there done that. xscorpx suggestion about stumbleupon is a good one. Check it out. BTW...thanks xscorpx for the links. Oh...have you tried this one... Once booted up click on set program access and default. It should restore your settings to a previous time or...if you have system restore take it back a few days to last known good configuration. Load default logon from Windows and default boot. Reboot into safemode and run CHKDSC from system utilities. Could be a problem with a missing value during post. If it runs good reboot into regular windows and check your logons and bootskins for any errors. Hope it helps as it is only thing I could th

Didn't know where else to put this. Downloaded Cortek WB and used the non per pixel version. WB would not load. Used the limited per pixel version and ran into all kinds of problems. Not all apps would skin, Fastone capture failed to work, Everything froze solid. Had to reboot and still the same problems. Everything then slowed to a crawl. Unloaded the WB and then all was fine. I'd include a screenshot but it didn't work. Any ideas. My system doesn't do perpixel yet but I've not had any problems

Running 64-bit O/S on a 32-bit machine is ok as far as that goes. Wait until the 64-bit machines hit the market more than they are now and you'll have a screamer+. Speed is only limited by the amount of data lines on the MB. Vista64 on a 64-bit machine...light speed would be slow in comparison. I 'll wait until all drivers and such are available. This way when I build my next one it'll beat the crap out of the one I have <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/smiles/Laugh.gif" border=0 alig

Been a member for 10 months now. # of WB's in my collection...would you believe 300+... no lie....I do have that many. Not all in the themes folder mind you. I keep a separate archive folder for those skins I refuse to let go of. Total downloads...more than a gigabyte and still counting. So far I have an archive for WB's, smx, cursorXp and rainlendar. I did purchase Essorants #2 skinpack, Logika Suite and Universe Metal and they are well worth the price. As soon as the bucks become available
