I had set the boot skin, on my xp pc to random. everytime I would start it up, it would do like it was supposed to, starting with a new bootskin every time I started the computer. Now the bootskins won't cycle through like in the menu settings, now they just start up with the same one. what can i do to make them start back up on random again.
That did it thank you very much, but just about the time I came back in the house. My 17yr old daughter came out the room and was on her myspace page, and I ask her "how did you do that"? Help someone please if anyone can! I have a logon screen that wont let me logon. It shows no user accounts, no start button. I'm sure if I cant get into an account I can fix the problem, but the ploblem is this particular logon screen doesn't seem to work. I have many differnt logon screens so I do know it is this particular logon screen. Mabey it's a bad file or possible I downloaded a logon not compatible with windows xp home edition, nevertheless and to no avail I tried booting in safe mo
