Yes, and Jythier. If you want. I don't know why you would though. I just posted a thread to get a better understanding of how FE compares to GalCiv2. I'm hoping it leads to me buying FE, because I really miss the land-based Civilization games.
On Steam?

While it is very generous of you to give it away, it'd still be nice to get something for your time and efforts. If you really want to financially support their endeavors, you could gift me GalCiv2 Complete

Tatical battles go like this... biff... bap... zap... ping.... clink... shrink...shrunk... bap... poof... boom...bamf...
I dunno, this actually sounds rather appealing... a comic book manual. Hmmmm

I'd say it's in better shape than many, many games that get released in a far worse state. The game is lightyears ahead of WOM. I was very disappointed in WOM but FE is total vengeance for Stardock.
Thanx for your response. Assuming I was eager to play it, too eager to wait for the official release, would it be wor

I've not participated in the beta, so haven't had any experience with FE, but in hearing about it's release next week, I popped back here to catch up. And I'm seeing what amounts to quite a few bugs still being discussed and found at this late date, and wonder will the release be as bad as WoM was? I assume not, because surely FrogBoy wouldn't allow that to happen again, but is it in fact ready to be released?

I preordered the Limited edition of E:WoM on August 4, 2010. I received and registered my copy 12/13/2010 but I do not have anything on my Stardock account about the FE beta, and I never received an email although my email hasn't changed on my Stardock account ever.

I know a few people are having problems with impulse not letting them update software if their subscription has expired and they renewed,,, impulse wont recognise the sub renewel therefore wont let you download updates. But i have heard somewhere that games work differently. Good luck mate
Subscription?&

I think it will be marvelous, beautiful, deep, innovative, feature-rich, hyper-optimized, and that it will caress us with its excellent and varied gameplay to countless gaming orgasms. Metaphorically speaking, of course...
Yeah, this is what everyone thought about E:WoM too... and remember how that turned out...
Quoting TorinReborn, reply 4What you said was actually similar to what Brad said recently (back 2 weeks or so). He said that he fears FE will replace E:WoM instead of being another game. Maybe at the start they planned to make FE a lot different but decided against it, which kind of goes hand in hand with what he told us much earlier about how they originally planned to much for E:WoM and could not do it all. No, what he sa

Nobody really plays it and it's just a waste of resources to include it in these types of games. Put those resources and time spent programming MP into the single player AI you promised you wouldn't take away from time on the single player game for multiplayer anyways Brad. So just can MP and let's get on with a great single player experience. nobody p

I'm curious if this purchase of Impulse by GameStop is going to affect the free distribution of FE, for those who purchased EWoM in 2010? Knowing GameStop, they'll not wat to give anything away... And for the record, I too have come to dislike GameStop pretty much over the recent years, although truth be told I still buy games from them (and Amazon)... Anything's better than Steam... ugh.

I haven't read every bit of this thread, but I did glance, and a lot of people are talking about combat, and multiplayer. I'll leave the multiplayer part out, because I have zero interest in it. I'll let those who truly weant it, and would play it talk that one out. It's not something I have any interest in, and I wouldn't ever play it. As long as the single player experience is not affected detrimentally. I do agree with that overall epicness feel to combat, i

I don't quite get why people are assuming that FE will replace EWoM, or that development on EWoM will discontinue, or that FE will have all the same content and gameplay mechanics as EWoM, plus with the additional content. Brad specifically states:
There is also another advantage to Fallen Enchantress being its own game rather than an “expansion pack”. And that is, it frees the team to make radical changes to the basics of the game while allowing War of Magic

That is the question Indeed, that is the question. Pardon me as I attempt to obtusely answer your question, but as I've come to understand it, the only thing that will blend EWoM with either "expansion" are 1. the ma

I still dont quite get why it has to be a new game... I dont want to have to choose to play either EWoM or FE, I want to play EWoM with FE content, as an actual expansion. I dont care if it's free or not, that isn't the point.
