Edited my last post as I didnt see you answering already. The ai pushes a lot for towers now. The towers overall go down faster now, whenever it sees a chance it goes for it and also the enemy DG seem to notice and show up when I try to push the towers. If the ai goes past the towers or not I havent noticed. Cant remember my pal DG dying back in enemy base though, which it did frequently before.

First test 3v3 all random on hard, cataract looks very good. Enemy side seems to get Curr2 now in correct timing, my pals bought fs1 at wr2. No strange behaviour (had TB, Sedna, Rook, Occ and UB) noticable. Didnt look at the replay but it felt like a multiplayer game. They seem to stay longer in battle now and therefor die more often (just like multiplayer). Very nice. Second game 2v2 all random on nightmare, cataract is the same. Partner makes some stupid things like n

We could get this tourney started with less than 16 peeps without having to fill in any ai player. We could split the field in groups. With 13 you do three groups one with five players and two with 4. First two of each group and the third of the 5 player group and the best third in the four player groups go on to a 8 player field to play out the winner of the tournament. The other 5 could play another small tourney for the rankings. I have a schedule for 4, 5, 8 and 16 players so any combinat

Thats a really good point of Plague, although I think that has nothing to do with the ai mod. Seems to me that the TB probs I talked about yesterday are similar to the qot problem. A hybrid TB build doesnt have to be bad but it seems that the ai changes form very seldom and then only has half of the skill sets available. So either let them in one form only or make them better in changing forms, but its not only qot.

Played 3 games with the new mod. All of them 3v3 on cataract with 5 hard ai. On my team always a Sedna and an Erb all others on random. Fs1 gets bought early, Curr1 and 2 always when ready which is better for me as I used to get curr2 which makes it a bit more realistic though as now I get away with no cit upgrades at all. So this part seems to work. In all three games I saw 1 (in words one) mass charm from my partner Erb. Maybe he casted them when not in a battle with

Still I would like to back-up what Pacov said. If 16 play then 15 will lose. Means if you lose you are in the majority. Personally I dont even think I have the chance to win. Still you get presumably 15 good games and thats the only reason I would like to play. So to me not playing the tourney is like not wanting to play Demigod at all anymore. Now of course there are good reasons not to play like house cought on fire, only having 4 weeks to play but besides that if you play every day anyways

Played one game against an Erb and one with an Erb (always put the DG on random). The Erb I played against used Mass Charm quite often. Was annoying so good. But the game with Erb on my side I noticed it didnt cast it. I am sure that it wasnt no Mass Charm at all but most fights he joined with me he didnt cast it although we could have used it. When checking him he was always low on mana. My guess is that in larger battles the ai probably hits the enemy with lowes

Have done several games with new ai mod now. Did yesterday 5 games 3v3 and another 2 games 2v2 all on cataract. You feel an improvement already which means the ai is harder to beat. 3v3: Here I play with 2 hard ai against 3 hard ai. This now feels like playing online against mid players. The enemy ai usually plays pretty good, they gank a lot to get kills, they buy the upgrades when they are done and go for the flags. The ai on your team also do a pretty decent job. Som

I think you are overdiscussing it. Forcing one player and let the other one chose already is our compromise. Pacovs examples are good as you can see the strategic thoughts behind it. Add to his example with Darkliath that she will have to pick her DG first before they tell Pacov to play DA. Will Dark in that scenario really pick Rook or UB knowing that they will most probably let Pacov play Reg or DA? If you look at this thread then the only reason we are still discussi

I agree that Rook and UB are the "best" DGs at least on cataract and that I cannot remember a game without at least one of them. Orions suggestion is too complicated in my eyes and would create confusion during the games. He mentions one important thing though. I hope everyone plays for him-/herself only and doesnt play crap on purpose so his buddy opponent gets the win. The players I know in the tourney have such a big ego that I doubt they would do that but I do not know all of them. Is tha

If you think about it a bit longer I think you will see that it will be not a lot of UBs or it will depend. I think we need to specify the DG picking a bit more, pacov has corrected it but now some things are not clarified. So both teams are in the lobby, from the schedule it is clear who is on light and who on dark. Step1: both teams declare which player on the other team will be forced to play a DG of their choice. I dont think it is really impo

@Lukas First question: Yes the exp is divided by all DG close to the flag when capped. Your second question aims at the whole sense of this yellow capping. Moving the flag slider gives exp, capping the flag (which means turning the flag to your color) gives a one time exp. The points are something between 20 and 30 for moving the slider the whole way and 100 for capping. So capping the thing is what really gives the points. So if enemy moves from

I tend to agree with Dark on the UB topic but seriously, how often does that happen? The only real unfair point here is that right after the sigil runs out the health most likely drops to 1 (unless he is or has been at the crystal in which case we have no discussion) and then ooze kills him. The -40 of ooze in normal circumstances should rarely be the killing blow but after sigil it is most probably the first damage that hits the UB. But for that the UB needed to stay in the battle or being c

Zen the list to pick from during the tourney is a nice idea in theory. How do you want to check and keep track who played what so far? What do you want to do if one player breaks that rule? It makes it way too complicated. IF we go for only 1 player has to play what the other team wants then the enemy team should be able to pick the player who is forced to play a certain DG. So options 2 or 3. Am not too picky on which one. The questio

Still being fairly new my studies of the strategy articles are not too long ago. Meanwhile I dont play a single build from there anymore. All my builds are more or less copies of really good players I had replays of. So actually I think having a replay of someone who really knows what he is doing with a DG is much better than a strat article of someone you dont have any idea how good he is.

I dont think it would be DA, Reg or QoT in every game but even if so, then so be it. Although I also think that we will not see UB or Rook. Lets not make it too complicated and just play the way the rules are now.

The DG picking is exactly like I think it is best. For scheduling I kinda had experience in the last tournament when one of our games got delayed. Its a bit tough but we finally could schedule a game with euros and US players. My guess would be that I just do that 15 times for this tournament. A specific time where a lot show up would certainly help making the orga part a bit better, but I guess some games you will have to schedule asking every single guy for available
