I think that minor races should be minor until they reach a certain point. In most cases the only way a minor should reach those points would be with significant help from the other races. I do not think that left to their own devices they would be able to achieve major race status.
The Yor could still have their super ability, just more powerful, like 2 or 3 times that amount, to a minimum number. So that 60 move ship gets cut to 45, making it slower, but not completely crippled. If this were the case, I wouldn't call that a super ability. Maybe a mediocre ability. As far as cooling goes, I bought aThermaltake case. That joker has about 15 cooling fans in it. I haven't had any over heating issues since I bought it. Dropped $125 for it and am happy with the purchase. Depends on the game for me, my typical transport has 2 Advanced troop modules. I tend to heavy them up late in the game for maximum effect. I never arm them and always run interference for them with my attack fleets.

Sounds like a problem quite a few people have had in the past. It almost always had something to do with their computer. How much memory do you have? What kind of video card are you using? What is your processor speed? What size galaxy are you playing? In order for you to get any kind of help from us we need to know a bit more about what type of system you are running and what your game settings are. Hope this helps.

Both sides submit their orders, and the turn is processed by the server. This would be the only way I think it could work with GalCiv2. Mumble, I actually thought about "being them". I have grown quite fond of the Yor though. I really like their miniaturization ability. I have gotten to the point where I actually detest the Torian. I love playing against them however. Does this make any sense? They always seem to make my game interesting. Like the NFL in a way. Most teams step up and play better when they are playing a better team. I find that my play style becomes even more creative when facing down the Torian.
I do like the logo, lord knows I could not do any better. I guess the only thing about the logo I do not really care for is the bright Icon with the triangle, it does not really fit in my opinion. I really do not see it affecting new players as much as the OP has claimed. Main reason is you can simply choose the races you play against. Since I do not have DA maybe I do not have a right to comment but, In my humble opinion, the races should not be, and are not "equal". Makes the game replay ability that much more potent.
I understood the second Idea, typically I do not like what was built either and it takes awhile to restructure the planet. This would save some time in that area, so I agree. The first idea was unclear to me.
