I think it's silly if a planet has 1.5 billion, you sent 1 billion off to fight, you're likely having lots of children and elderly people as soldiers, and even worse people who just aren't into physical battling at all (i.e. out of shape people).

I can't get the viewer to come on in the first place, that's the problem. Ships do their little fighting on the main map screen and that's it. I have no way to make a debug.err

I still say good simply needs morale bonus. Umm.. I haven't seen the good tech robot, but the evil one is freaky and horrible. The neutral one looks stupid and annoying. Maybe the good one looks heavenly?

This seems like the ultimate cheese tactic. Sell votes for cash and tech. Then reload the game if they all vote for something stupid. Oh and it's not like you have enough votes to force favor usually (if you do you don't need to do this).

People live in Hiroshima and Nagisaki now. Umm.. I wonder are the tiles ever upgradable? I've seen some planets that start out at the same class, but strangely one can be upgraded more and the other is mostly ocean (no there's not ethical choice stuff that did it).

Oh, but then again why taxes are the square root of the population? Sure taxes have to pay for them, but square root is pretty harsh. A morale equation has it raised to .75 instead of .5(which is square root). It would make more sense to have it raised to a number closer to one. Or offer a good explanation.

Hi Yarlen, just a question since I can't start new threads, I can't find any docs, but what settings can I disable in GalCiv2 to make the game run faster? I got anti-aliasing down and resolution helps. I think it's a memory thing. It'd be nice to have a FAQ on this (also on how to prevent enemy civs from stealing your tech).
