I'm sorry, these things cannot be modded, they are hardcoded. You can change the text that appears on the screen and the movies/images though .

But up until now I didint have A digital camera You don't need one. Just press the Print Screen Button ingame, then open up an image editor (Paint will do) and paste. Voila, an image of what was on your screen when you pressed the button. </a

When in DesktopX Builder, right click and choose select all.Then, once it's all been selected, right click again and choose export. Select .dxpack on the screen that pops up, and follow the wizard through. Hope this helps.

I am afraid I must announce that I wish to resign from the MVL. I have just moved into year 10 at school and it is a lot busier than my previous years, so I wish to concentrate my lessened spare time on other things, namely the MMV and various mods I am developing. I will however try to support the league in any way I can, and will remain faithful and supportive of The Domination of Death. So the AI actually makes its own ship designs and doesn't just build stock template ships? It uses templates for the cosmetics (computers don't have an eye for design you see), but adds components on intelligently.

This is me posting a very disappointing defeat. The Thal stumbled upon planets with both Precursor Mines and Libraries and I didn't notice, leaving it unchecked. I never played GalCiv 1, but I think the way engines were handled in that game was instead of having engine components, engine techs just gave an overall bonus to speed (like the first impulse, warp, and hyperwarp techs do in GCII). This is because there was no ship design . <a

I think the AI will be all right with this; part of the way it was programmed was to be flexible and to adapt. Only way to find out though is to try it out.

Any goo image editing software will do it for you, as long as it can export as PNG (which most, if not all, can). Adobe Photoshop is a good package and is what I use, but if you're looking for something free, try The GIMP . It is a bit confusing but very powerful and above all, free . Sorry, no proper multiplayer in the game, the Ctrl+Shift+Z gives you a quasi-hotseat game, but I've never tried it so I can't say any more . There is no 'No AI Personality'.
