Yeah... Alliances. I'm playing the campaign, first part (just got the game) and i have researched Alliances and would like to form an alliance with the Altarians (who are my teammates). We obviously have good relations already, but I don't know how to do it. BTW, what bonuses do you get with an ally? Do you share techs? Anything?

Everytime I either put the disk in or otherwise start the game, it instantly crashes to desktop without showing me anything of the game. I keep getting a little window that says "The item 'MWSOEMON.EXE' that this shortcut refers to has been changed or moved, so this shortcut will no longer work properly. Do you want to delete this short cut?" I always answer no because I haven't done anything to my machine and I don't want to delete something I might need later. I have, however, installed th
