I have no real input here since I'm not in the beta, except for this Also the main screen should really be just two dimensional then from there 3 dimensional. WHAT!?!? That would just be a real time GalCiv2, Sins is a space strategy game and you can't have *real time* strategy in space in this day and age without three dimensions, ships must move up, ships must move down, they can't sit on one plane and take a pounding, like I say I have no expe

I'm not telling you guys jack. Hmm...who is this Jack, is he related to the fourth tech tree? I like some variety in the races, if all the races played the same, it would be abit boring IMO heh Same here, as long as no one race has superiority over the others.

Lol that one's great, though I hate how the player can't seem to keep the camera on the explosion very well There have been on average 30-40 active threads on here EVERY day, so its hard to sometimes keep track of them all.... You're forgetting who you're talking to, nothing happens on the internet without me seeing. youtube What's Youtube <img src="http://images.stardock.com/gc2/T_DL/smiles/S

An hour?? BAH! Lightweights... I've had SupCom games go on past the two and three hour mark. Although thats not an empire management game, so yeah, around about an hour, an hour and a half should be average time, but tense matches with multiple players should be allowed to continue on past that.

Awesome, I'll have to check it out. Time zone difference could be a pain in the neck though. Cool, typical, very few people on there ATM. Its currently 10:51 GMST, which makes it 5:51 EST, so it won't be 9am over there until 1pm!

Um...no, I'll do a little digging though. Aha! This thread that I posted when I was still a baby forumite, more specifically a reply posted by the mighty Schem, makes reference to a Vasari ship capable of creating Phase Gates. (In regards to Phase Gates): but the only things confirmed so far to have that is the vasari fighter ship.<

Damn, interesting threads have been slipping through my grasp lately, how have I not noticed this one until now? Anyway I have the original SupCom and even though my computer goes well beyond the recommended system requirements (Quad-Core-check, 4(and a bit) GB RAM-check, super duper amazing human brain in a can video card-check) yet still the biggest battles bring it to its knees. However, those 100 more units and fully fleshed out navies make this expansion/sequel/whatever to

the other 2 are Advent for sure (i think) Well the second one for me seems reminiscent of the planet-sucky Vasari ship whatever it was called (we need the ships section back, my memory ain't what it used to be, y'know, since the war) but yeah it does look Advent-ish so it could go either way. I think the third one is the strongest Advent candidate of the three but then who knows?

I must admit they do look...delicious And am I right in think they are *all* Vasari? The weapons range on the ship in Pic #2 looks incredible. No reason to slow the thread down by forcing them to load every time. *Proudly displays new 24mb Broadband*

I can see my house from here! Still, way to got, and Ashberry, good luck with the mod, and good luck playing it, as Omicron1 said, I think t'would be a tad dull.

Its easy to implement, but pure hell to defend against One could argue that that could be countered with a little space terrain "No, the enemy fleet *can't* come from the star because there's a nebula (of death) and an asteroid field (of terror) blocking the way, therefore they must come from this direction (points away from star)" But yeah, I'm for Phase Lanes as long as they don't constrict travel too much, maybe having a junction mid lane so

"when its ready" I think the devs should definitely do that as a joke Pretty much. It's like 235 days away! Plenty of time to procrastinate *Replaces Yarlens calendar with 2008 calendar, flips to February* MWAHAHAHAHAHA! I think the new website needs some windows...

Seeing as these ships are bigger, they need more power to go their life support and weapons systems, so their thrust would be nerfed in that respect. Plus its a balance issue, players need to see the horrific metal death machine in time to do something about it otherwise the game would be too hard.

Wow, that was off topic, but I can totally relate, except for the part about being in the army. Plus I'm not so much of an outcast, as someone with a few good friends, and lots of totally superficial friends. Anyway, that IS way off topic. Anyway, with the Triple Heart bypass a success (I did it while juggling scalpels) I'll now weigh simply by saying that that mother was incre
