*Completely ignores the insightful (and well written) article and DROOLZ AT THE PURTY PICTUREZ* Seriously, I like that feature. Previous RTS games have had ships and fleet following orders for all of one nanosecond, and then flying off and doing whatever the hell they feel like. Sins=innovative
Dude! Mighty Mongoose
Question: Aren't the music files accessible in the game's directory anyway (albeit in Ogg format, though a determined soundtrack obsessed nerd [with questionable personal hygiene] could find a way around that), so what's the point of the soundtrack? (Or are the music files now no longer accessible?)
I concur, that article seemed to wander aimlessly about. I mean, I know the idea is to get across as much about the multiplayer as possible, but it seemed they didn't stay on anything long enough to get any real info across.
The Collector's Edition version of the game will come with a music CD.
Game soundtracks seem to be going through something of a boom at the moment, that is terrific news, the Sins theme tune has been stuck in my head all week, the sign of great music...
If you purchase the CD (general term) version from Stardock you'll get a retail box - even in the U.K.
Don't underestimate how happy that makes me....it looks something like this
"Aperture Science bring your daughter to work day is the perfect time to have her tested" "Now you will miss the party, I invited your pal the weighted companion cube, but he couldn't make it because you murdered him, I also invited your other friends but they couldn't make it because you have no other friends, because you're so unlikeable" GLaDOS rules...
:O You're back!! Yay!! And I thought you would never escape eets intestines.
It wasn't easy...or pretty.
UK availablity is fine you just can't own the CD/DVD.
*Sigh* Maybe I'm old fashioned but I love the feeling you get when a CD thunders onto the welcome mat...waking me up knowing that the game I have been waiting for has arrived.
No Evil emperors outfit is complete without a stylish goatee... Ah the Hippy Power Punch, 200 times more devastating than the Death Star's main gun...duck!
*Attempts to buy but is stonewalled by lack of UK availability* :SNIFF!:
OMG you are alive
Yup, I merely placed myself in Cryogenic suspension until the release of Sins, however a power failure caused me to be thawed early....
ever look down before you flush?
I hate to say it, but that's exactly how I escaped.
I don't sleep...I wait...
Fan...tastic AAR (and I would never have found it without all the bumping), puts mine to shame. Great plot, memorable characters and witty dialogue, I bask in your reflected glory.
Look, Hydrogen fuel-cell cars needn't emit water-vapor. If you collect and condense that water vapor, you get distilled water. The problem is gone. Anyway, Honda is now leasing fuel-cell cars, but I don't think they have condensation systems installed...
I'm with you there, there is already research into cars with onboard electrolysers which condense the water vapour emitted from Hydrogen Fuels cells (and its more powerful, and more complex bigger brother the Hydrogen In
I like the one with the blue star in the background *sets as desktop background*
You get spotty chairs at Stardock? Nice.
This is the best reply EVER! I lament the loss of Bioware's independence...kharma strikes again, Bungie wrangles free of Microsoft and Bioware is swallowed by EA. Long live independence IC!
You write weekly letters to the government begging them to defend the Phase Lanes.
EA to buy Ironclad Games!!! =o *Seizure*
The need the guy that does the voice for fallout... Ron Perlman, he rocks...the voice in the trailer didn't bother, the music sounded a little MIDI, but that was probably just because it was early days in the development.
Mass Effect looks better and better. And no...that is not Captain Janeway (or Kate Mulgrew, as she prefers to be called) providing the voice of Sheperd.
It should be Kingdom of the Skull Crystal, then it would abbreviate to KOSC.
In which case every single guy on the entire planet counts as a whore. Quote...of...the...year.
counting is hard for mangeese , give him a break Spelling is hard for people who eet sqrls... The seventh is the pirate base Ah, then um, which *is* the novalith cannon...
Mighty, he acknowledged that you'd need to break the light speed barrier I know, its just an interesting notion.... but THEN of course, what took you a few seconds actually took 13 blln years and you're back where you started... The theory of relativity is fun and all but don't ya think it would just be sooo much easier if we could go faster than light without the time dilation effects? Stupid universe.
The seventh one down in Multi's post, its the installation with the big green spire...I think...
